Q: Per t mobile the unit has to be unlocked for them to provide service so how do you get service since these units not unlocked?

This hotspot is unlocked (at least what we are selling are unlocked) and allow the use of SIM from various different carriers, so you can use any SIM card (nano size) with a data plan.

Q: Can I connect outdoor security cameras to the t9 ?

I have a EUFY outdoor floodlight cam connected to a T9. It works okay. You have to change the settings to "Always On." If the battery dies or ac power is lost you will have to manually restart T9, not like the netgear nighthawk which will automatically reconnect when powered up.

Q: I don't understand is it battery powered or AC ? I want to use it in home and i cannot replace the battery every week...

I have this hotspot. It is amazing. It runs on a Truconnect sim from lifeline. Runs on any tmobile based sim. Doesnt have to be a tomobile bought sim. It runs even if you take the battery completely out while plugged into a USB. It runs on battery or without one. So you could just plug it into a AC USB charger without a battery installed and it still stays on. Not many if any hotspots do this. Most turn off as soon as the battery falls out, like Verizons. This Tmobile Franklin T10 hotspot battery is however robust and large and does last for a long time before you'll have to rely on usb power only. The battery lasts from full charge almost 12 hours unless you're gaming, then you're looking at about 6 hours of continuous use.

Yes only with the services there
