Good New and Bad News
I like the pot but the lid only fits when the strainer is inserted into the pot. If you want to use the lid without the strainer inside the pot the lid will fall through. In my opinion this is clearly a design fail. Otherwise I would have given the product five stars.

Cute, great filter, hot handle!
This is such a cute kettle and the filter works perfectly! It’s so great to have a filter built in to the kettle. The only reason I am only giving this 4 stars instead of 5 is because the handle gets SO hot. When you turn the burner off on the stove you cannot handle the kettle unless you have a mit on. I would recommend this to people but I would also warn them about the hot handle so they don’t burn their hand like I did.Another perk to this kettle is once you put the lid on, the tea stays very hot for a very long time!

Really great pitcher, but lid is a bit awkward.
Very chic pitcher, with a surprisingly large capacity for the sleek shape. And sturdy. One star deduct because I don't love the lid. The rubber seal/gasket is kinda big & flappy such that I find it rather awkward to insert & remove the lid. Others obviously do not have a problem with it, so this might be a minority opinion. I use it exclusively as a water pitcher so I don't need the water-tight / infuser utility, and ultimately ended up just removing the seal and simply let the lid fit loosely. Actually I moved the seal all the way up to the very underside of the lid to give it a softer landing when in place and eliminate rattling when carrying. (I should say that with the seal in the position is was designed to be in the lid fits very snugly and does not rattle.)

The glass is to thin and it breaks easy. Use plastic spoon very gentle
Be careful with this item. The glass is to thin and it breaks easy. Use plastic spoon very gentle. If I had known it was so thin I wouldn't have bought it.

if you like lots of tea & you want to reheat it in the microwave this is for you!
(This is a review for the glass pitcher with the bamboo lid)First, it does indeed fit 7 cups easily and I would even feel confident brewing 8 cups of tea in it.Secondly, it works perfectly for reheating my tea in the microwave (without the lid & coil obviously), which is why I chose it.Thirdly, as another reviewer noted, it keeps tea nice & hot for a long time. I like my tea hot. I have just brewed a pot (nearly 8 cups) at least an hour ago and the tea is still hot enough that it will be a while yet before it is lukewarm and I will want to reheat it.Fourthly, I have used it pretty much every day and because I am gentle (when it is full I hold it with two hands, which is possible I think because I do not use it on the stove), it appears that it will last a very long time. The lid still fits snugly (which may be because I never bring water to a boil inside it with the lid on).

Nice, sturdy pot
Nice, sturdy pot. But, there is wasted space at the top. The spout limits how full I can fill this, and I like a BIG pot of tea, so I wish I had realized the spout was low on this one. I also bought "Gobize 64 Oz Large Waterplant Pattern Heat Resistant Borosilicate Water Pitcher with Stainless Steel Lid, Hot or Cold Water Jug glass carafe with Lid Stove-top Safe"...and I can fill that one right up to the top.

HANDLE NOT WELDED AS IT SHOULD HAVE BEEN
How can I say this, the top portion of the handle was not welded on. When I put some water in it I could hear this weird creeking sound. It was the glass rubbing against glass causing it.

It is nice to look at but not very functional
It is nice to look at but not very functional. The strainer looks solid and sturdy but it’s not. The strainer also has very sharp edges. I cut myself just washing it. The inside of the lid is also very sharp. Poor craftsmanship and very thin material. Not satisfied with this. Not worth the price.
