Fisher-Price Laugh & Learn, Puppy Potty

If you have a little one who loves this puppy dog character (Fisher Price), then this is a great first potty! My son is 20 months old and not exactly ready to start potty training yet, but he’s been showing some signs that he may be ready sooner than I thought. I looked at tons of styles, and decided to get this one since he’s obsessed with this little character (he loves the Fisher Price app on his tablet, and has an interactive plush toy). His eyes lit up soon as he saw the little book! I love the book holder in the back. You can press the little puppy shaped button in the corner for songs, or turn the pages and have the story read aloud. Great for teaching potty terms.It’s a great, safe height and looks comfy. The blue seat detaches and fits on my toilet perfectly. I was afraid all of the sounds would be distracting, and to some extent they are, but my son seems to learn things quicker whenever music or buttons are involved. I put this in my bathroom so he can get used to seeing it. The first thing he did tonight was go over and sit down on it (backwards, but we’ll work on that! 😂).I highly recommend this little potty! It’s definitely one of the more expensive options, but if it gets him interested in doing big boy things on it, I’m all for it. 🥰Thanks for reading! I hope this was helpful. 😉

My son thinks this is really cool. He just started with potty training so I can’t confirm if it’s easy to clean, but he really likes the book and the flush sound. The shape is a little problematic for boys because if they don’t sit all the way back it’s uncomfortable. If your child is small or too short to be able to sit all the way back on the seat by himself this may be an issue, but it’s designed that way to keep the pee in the bowl!

My son loves this potty. It talks and sings when he successfully goes in it. The book that comes with it helps him sit long enough to go. The flushing sound when he pushes down the handle is rewarding to him. That's his favorite part. He's taken to potty training much quicker and easier than I expected and I believe it's partly because he loves his puppy potty. Oh and the bowl is super easy to remove and clean.

Bought for my nephew, he loved the book after spending an hour playing with the toilet checking it out and what not he flushed it and it said good job, he was like but I didn't poop! He is going to sit on it on his own bc he likes the sounds and interactions it has. Best buy!

My 1 yo old son was showing a surprising amount of interest in the potty and would go anytime we sat him on there, so we decided to buy him this little potty that he could sit on on his own. I like that the seat can be placed on the big potty and it's pretty easy to clean. I also like that there's a sensor that plays songs when it detects that he went -- it scared him at first but now he likes to dance to it when it plays and it helps let me know that he actually did something. Although after rinsing out the tray, unless you wipe it down to dry it (I don't), the sensor is still wet and will sometimes start playing randomly -- including the middle of the night -- so make sure you turn it off after use! The book that it comes with is key to keeping him sitting on the potty (and not trying to reach in there) long enough to go -- he likes to sit on his potty flipping through his book (typical man! ;) ) and hitting the button to play songs until he goes.

A very comfortable height for an early potty user. It’s low to the ground so it’s not scary to sit on and the book provides enough distraction so your little one may ACTUALLY use the restroom! The pee gaurd does its job and dispite some bad reviews about splashing we had no issues at all with our son.I’m not a huge fan of electronic toys that sing obnoxious songs but dang it if this catchy little potty didn’t encourage our kid to use it ..I love this potty!

Was a bit overwhelmed by all the potty options out there. Got this early for my son to gear up for potty training when he is ready (he is 18 months old now). So far he loves this thing- loves flushing the handle, sitting in it, and especially the book that comes with it. He still hasn't figured out to go potty in it but am hopeful. The potty is a great size for him, fits easily in our bathroom, the book has 2 sound levels and has surprisingly enjoyable songs. You will need some batteries for the flushing sound and toilet song- the book comes with its own batteries. The top of the toilet comes out and I'm assuming fits on a regular toilet. Looks easy enough to clean. Very happy with my purchase.

Perfect! It sings instantly when he uses the potty which encouraged him to WANT to use it! The height is perfect for our 3 year old grandson. Many people have voiced concern over this being to short for their children, however...this is actually designed this way for the purpose of facilitating the best position for them to easily poop. If they’re almost squatting down it helps them move their bowels and will make it a little harder to just hold it in. It’s a potty not a chair so it should not be chair height. The book is adorable and he LOVES it. The rule we have is that the book has to stay in the potty and he could sit on the potty and look at it all he wanted. That encouraged him to want to sit for a while instead of just saying I can’t do it or I don’t want to. Highly recommend!

My son has only used it a couple times but so far so good. I love the book, real flush noises and when there is something in the bottom it congratulates them. Super cute and gets my toddler excited.

My little one loved this toilet.The little flush sound is great. Its easy to clean.The book is great and lasts long on batteries.It made potty time fun for this parent. She was using it and potty trained in no time.Thanks to this awesome Fisher Price well made trainer!!
