I was looking to get a folding storage box for my new electric truck. I bought this piece of junk for the cheap price! Low quality material with a pungent smell, not strong enough and the fasteners collapse, lots of burrs. Incomprehensible installation guide, they don't even have a drawing, dim photos of a dirty messy place. This is complete garbage. Don't waste your time!

This is a replica/knockoff of the Ford OEM foldable under-seat storage box. Having owned Ford trucks with the original Ford foldable storage box, I can tell you this is NOT the same box, but it is similar. It mounts directly to the Ford provided mounting points, which includes a threaded nut already built into the truck. You will need to purchase the Ford bolts. The kit includes self tapping bolts, but I elected to use the Ford bolts. If you have the 36 gallon extended range fuel tank, you will have to drop the tank to get to the mounting points. DO NOT drill on the driver's side floor--you will pierce the fuel tank! The original Ford OEM box includes a sliding lock to keep the box from collapsing. This box does not have the sliding lock, but includes two metal clips to keep it from collapsing. The clips have small chains and a hoop to afix it to the back of the box. Note--both of my chains were knotted and a pain to untangle. Lastly, this box is not a stout and sturdy as the OEM box, but it does the job. I only purchased this box because I could not find a Ford OEM box. For the money, it is worth it and I now have my foldable storage.

I installed these on my 2020 F150 in about 20 minutes. The storage bin fits perfectly under my backseat. It provides plenty of storage and keeps the items secure. There are more expensive ones out there but this one does the trick. The details are also good, relative to the price, it's worth it.

There are no install instructions

I put this in a 2023 F150 super crew. Fits fine under the seat. Since it is collapsable it is not as strong as the rigid non-collapsable type. The collapsing is enticing, but not sure what good it does me, as I intend to keep it in place. There are no instructions, and it is not exactly rocket science, but a sheet with photos would be a great help.

Will not fit over a floor mat and the plastic is cheap

Purchased for a 2018 Ford F150. An exact fit for the rather unusual under seat configuration. Nice looking, decent quality, and a fair price! Btw, it needs to be drilled.
