Not hard to install, disregard the others.
Works great! Smaller than expected but still plenty of power. Simple to install, remember to trim the excess wire if you're using the provided down-rod.

Great Product and Awesome Service
This fan was easy to install, is so quiet we don’t even know it’s running and has a remote to make using easy. Our glass globe was cracked when it was delivered but it was replaced very easily and quickly by the customer service representative. Big fan! :)

Almost perfect, but still well worth the price!
All they had to do was use a different shroud design...the type with two screws on each side.... In fact, the mounting bracket that comes with the fan actually has the screw holes for that type, but they used the bottom screws which would have been fine if they were both keyholed, but one is not making it extremely difficult to get everything into place. I should mention this fan was very inexpensive and looks absolutely awesome in my studio! Love the remote too....It doesn't blow a ton of air, but you wouldn't want this in a big room anyway.....I have it in a small room so it's perfect for a small room.....at a small price. Minus the shroud issue a nice deal....only one star off.....that would have been such an easy fix to simply put the screw holes in a different place and see if everyone who installed this fan probably a half an hour or minimum and likely more.

Hykolity 42" Indoor Ceiling Fan With Light (E26 Base) and Remote Control, Reversible Blades
The media could not be loaded. This is a review for the Hykolity 42" Indoor Ceiling Fan with Light (E26 Base) and Remote Control, Reversible Blades and Motor.1. The first installation was challenging as said by the man who helped me install it. It took a good hour and a half to do it. By the time he installed the second, it took him 20 minutes. He said, each manufacturer does things differently but once you figure it out, it becomes easy.2. The fan is super quiet. You cannot hear a thing while it is running.3. As for those who were complaining about the remote sensor, I am surprised. I can get both fans running from one bedroom. I noticed it while I was showing how the fans work to a relative who stopped by my place. So the sensor in my opinion is working excellently.4. Yes, the light is not bright. Those who are thinking of using this fan in a larger space such as the living room or dinning room, should take that into consideration. Nonetheless, the instructions [on the roof of the light casing] reads that the light sockets can take up to 150 or 180 Watts [I'll have to check again].I would definitely recommend buying this fan and finding someone who is up to the installation task. Not every electrician or handyman is the same.

Didn't work right out of the box.
Fan didn't work right out of the box. Wiring was correct and it had power to the remote receiver, but no power out to the motor or lights. Dip switched were matched between the remote and receiver and changed several times to make sure that wasn't the issue. Remote battery was changed to see if that would help. It did not. Remote receiver was faulty. I should know better than to buy stuff that the price is "too good to be true". Returned and purchased a name brand fan that was much easier to install and worked perfectly.

Sleek and inexpensive
Great for medium sized rooms with angled ceilings. I had this professionally installed since we didn’t have any previous ceiling lighting so I can’t speak on install.

Electrician had big problems hanging this fan.
According to my electrician the box is designed for a ceiling light not a ceiling fan. The receiver for the remote won't fit into the hole at the base of the fan. He's coming back again tomorrow to see if he can figure out a way to make it work. BTW this electrician has been hanging ceiling fans for years. Several for me. I'll update with a work around if the issue is resolved.Edit: due to issues with hanging the fan I decided to go with a Hampton Bay fan that was super easy to install. Took my guy less than 15 minutes. I can't recommend this fan.
