Awesome Remote Control Mouse Toy!! Kitten loves it.
I took a chance and had SantaPaws bring the Slowton Remote Control Mouse and Feather Cat Toy for my kitten and 2 older cats on Christmas. I took the Mouse Car with Feather(it looks like a car that has a Mouse face, tire wheels for feet, and a feather antenna that holds tall in the air)out of the box and put it on the kitchen floor. As I installed the batteries in the remote control, my kitten began attacking the Mouse Car trying to eat the feather. So I bent down and flipped the switch on the Mouse Car to On(the switch is near battery door) so I could make the car move. The remote control lets u drive the mouse forward, backward and you can turn it side to side. So I began the Mouse Car journey in the kitchen..I moved it forward and my kitten, Frankie, jumped back and straight up in the air. My 2 older cats slowly backed away. I kept moving the Mouse forward slowly and my kitten started following it. I moved it to my living room that has carpet and started to speed up the Mouse Car and my kitten ran after it.(There was no problem using the Car on the Carpet;my carpet is thick too) I then had the Mouse Car speed down the carpeted hall and all 3 cats were after it. I followed. I then turned the Mouse car into my bedroom and my kitten was able to tackle the Mouse Car by the feather. He didn't pull the feather off just grabbed it and held it and looked up at me. So at that point,I thought it was a good idea to turn the car off and just watch the 3 cats around the car. The 2 older cats checked out the Mouse car and smacked at the feather antenna a couple of times but after a few minutes they both went on their way. The kitten, Frankie, loves the Mouse Car. He loves the feather antenna and loves to chase the car around the rooms. He likes to smack the tires and feather. He just likes to chase and tackle things. Thank you for a great toy for my little guy...its holding up very well and I hope it continues to do so! Thank you for fast shipping around the holidays!!

I like it but my cat hates it.
I can't get my cat to play with it, he just runs and hides. But it works great, I've used on the hardwood floors, carpet, and out in the yard over pavers and cement with no issues. It has taken me a long time to get comfortable with the remote, it takes off really fast and I struggle with turning it. Maybe if it had a "slow mode" I could control it better and my cat would have a chance to get familiar with it rather than it just taking off and startling him. And even though it is cool how the front wheels flip it would be nice if it had another option to turn that off and have the wheels turn normal.

Very disappointed.
There's a few problems with this toy. First you must remain within 6 feet of the toy. Which can be annoying but you have to stay near it anyways because this toy doesn't have a turning feature. You can only drive forwards/backwards. There is a feature that spins the front end which kinda works sometimes but not really. Wouldve been better to press triggers on top of the remote to spin the front end and turn with the right analog. Also the toy will not work every 5 minutes. All of a sudden it will just stopped in place and make a loud buzzing noise. Only way to fix it is by picking up and putting down the toy. We dont know why this fixes it but it does though its only a temporary fix. This issue started only 10 minutes after using it. This toy wont work if anything is between the remote and toy which is annoying. The feathers are not secure. One of our cats tore them off within the first 2 minutes. It took her no effort at all. Only 1 of our 6 cats likes it. Seems to be too intimidating. A smaller size would be better. Only good thing I can say is that it works on all floors. Overall we would not recommend purchasing this one. Doesn't seem like the manufacturer put any effort into its functions.

Awesome toy, but maybe not for your cat
Every time I purchase a remote control mouse for my cats, the mouse is so big they won't play with it. One cat weighs over 12 lbs. and my other cat was 18 lbs! However, I have a lot of fun with this toy and it really is sturdy. I use it to catch the dogs off guard walking down my street! So, if not for your cat, buy it for yourself!

Good Toy, Great Buying Experience!
The media could not be loaded. When I ordered the original toy, it was defective. I contacted the company and they immediately responded and promised to send a new one. The replacement arrived within a few days and my cats and I love it! So far it is quite durable and holds up when I continually crash the mouse into walls - I’m not yet skilled at using the remote! Great find!

Terrible toy, great purchase
This is probably the best money I’ve ever spent. The cats are TERRIFIED of this unholy monstrosity of a cat toy. Don’t buy this if you actually want your cat to play with it. However, if you intend to use it to chase your cats around the house, this is perfect. It’s really difficult to steer. The eyes of the mouse glow red when it’s on which is a total bonus. And really, the sheer hilarity of a mouse on steroids with monster truck wheels chasing a cat cannot be overstated.
