Good power budget. Low cost
No frills PoE switch. As a switch it works like any other unmanaged gigabit switch. With regards to PoE it negotiates both 802.3af and 802.3at connection correctly but does not respect power negotiated power limits. This is both good and bad. The upside is any device can draw power up to the limit. The bad is it will not protect the powered device from faults. However, some devices are not fully complaint with power limits and rely on internal protection circuits. This means this switch is more tolerant/compatible with PoE devices; purchasing a high end switch may actually backfire as it will occasionally fault and reset your device.Port isolation is oddly marketed as VLAN and the switch is labeled extend. This is likely due shared naming scheme used throughout the product line. However, I can’t figure out why this necessary. Each label is unique and cannot be used for any other switch. Thus properly labeling each switch should not incur any additional cost. Maybe the mfg didn’t want to pay for additional english translation?Regardless the port isolation feature works. When enabled, ports 1-4 can only communicate with ports 5&6 but not each other. Useless for security purposes but useful for controlling multicast issues. For its cost there are more sophisticated (web managed and even L2 managed if you’re willing to go down to fast ethernet) options available with more total ports (same 4 PoE) but a much lower power budget. This makes this switch targeted for a much smaller niche. This switch would best be suited for IP cameras and wireless AP. Where as if you only run one or two of these devices and want a more multipurpose switch; there are better options.

Handy tiny unmanaged PoE switch ideal for harsh environments
Very sturdy little PoE switch, ideal for security camera or IoT applications. The max 100Mbps speed per port it usually not a problem for the kind of applications this switch is designed for. It conveniently comes with a 60W power brick/adapter giving the bundle an attractive price point. Read carefully the descriptions so you don't oversubscribe the PoE power budget of the attached devices (max 30W per port, and max 60W total) meaning you can connect max 2 X 30W cameras or 3-4 X 15W PoE devices).

Power Supply not rated for the switch
This segment of my network stopped working. Ultimately I discovered the power supply stopped working. I replaced it with a true industrial power supply and the switch / and network was back up and running.

Great price for a POE switch but no "smart" capabilities for non-POE ports
Setup:- one non-POE port goes to 2nd switch- one non-POE port goes to Synology (4 port enclosure)I wanted to get all traffic coming into the switch from the cameras to go over the port connected directly to the Synology. There is no way to do this with the switch since there is no "smart" configurable routing capabilities with it. The solution i had was to give the Synology a direct route to the camera which works well. One port ip on the Synology is 192.168.0.7Camera ip is 192.168.0.20Run this on the Synology and the traffic will route over the .7 address to the .20 directly through the switch without causing traffic over the rest of the network:/sbin/ip route add 192.168.0.20 via 192.168.0.7Switch is working well after a few weeks, I only have one camera plugged at the moment but no issues so far.

Solid Support
I have tested this switch and works as directed. I had questions on the extended signal and when I emailed with questions they responded very quickly.

Perfect for Office POE Access Points
4 ports is not a lot. And while there are other options with more ports, I think the size is perfect for a small office that only has a couple POE access points. There are two uplink ports which will allow you to connect your internet and something else like an NVR. It's pretty small and compact, but does include rack mounting hardware if you really want to do that. Overall it's pretty good for the price.
