Great pump, very quiet
After some initial trouble (my fault), this pump is excellent and functions very well. It's extremely quiet, I barely hear it above the sound of water spray.I'm using this with a 50-gallon water barrel. Water comes from the barrel, feeds into the pump, and I directly attach a garden hose. The barrel itself has barely any water pressure, but with this pump, I get a very strong stream of water. If you're having trouble with the automatic shutoff, which does work very well when configured correctly, keep in mind that this pump is designed to go inbetween the water source, and say, a faucet. Lack of water pressure at the source (eg. my water barrel) will not cause the pump to shut off. Pressure at the end of the system (eg. the faucet is closed, or the garden sprayer is closed) will, thoughThe only thing I don't like is the way the input and output are positioned - they come out of the side, it would be much nicer if they both shot straight out of one side. Most pumps of this type (ie. the kind that doesn't directly sit in water, but instead has an input/output) have this sort of configuration, though.

Solar use
Pump works better than described, very easy to install, maintains and hold pressure while in stby, when working the flow rate is stable and plenty. Auto shutoff/ start is excellent. Will reccomend for solar inverter users as the load on the sistem is negligible, you barely notice when star/stop with a small inverter, the large 4kw inverter doesnot even flinch. Great product!!

Reliable little pump
I bought this to run a water tank setup without city water available in one of my locations. The instruction is a bit vague so I looked up a few videos to ensure that I connect everything properly. The metal fittings are bit confusing coz you can use them at both ends. Somehow I figured it out with some teflon tape added and everything works fine. Plenty of power to pump a 50-gallon tank smoothly.

Great for rain collection hose. DO NOT ADJUST BEFORE 1st USE!!!
The media could not be loaded. I’m using this pump to water plants on my deck with rainwater collected in barrels. DO NOT make the mistake I made. DO NOT ADJUST THE FLOW PRESSURE SCREW BEFORE SET UP AND FIRST TRIAL!!! I made a test setup with a bucket of water and the flow seemed just ok. I adjusted the screw and was almost ready to return the pump. Instead I read the instructions (which are not at all reader friendly) and the next day attempted to put the screw back into its original position (or as close as I could remember it being.) The pump works like a charm.Pump power is sufficient to drive water through nozzle.Pump quality seems to be holding up well. I plan to drain it and put a freeze cover over it for the winter.Pump build quality is on par with other similar pumps. I wish the connections were brass rather than plastic. The garden hose connection adapters which were included are brass. Leaks are too easy to occur when threaded plastic meets threaded brass.Overall I’m happy with the price and quality and supposed support from the manufacturer (which I haven’t had to use, but is spelled out in the owner’s manual). We’ll see how it holds up being stored throughout the winter and firing up again next spring.NOTE: Keep the box in storage. I recall reading in another review that if you do have to return it to the manufacturer for warranty service, they request the original packaging.

Not so sure
Edit: pump blew out the gasket and ended up flooding my basement. Ran for a couple of weeks no issues, and then I go to the basement after hearing my well pump running for a while and found the pump blowing water out all around where the pump connects to the motor. Basement flooded with a couple of inches of water. Absolutely stay away.Started strong not so sure now however. I bought this to boost pressure on yard sprinklers after a renovation to ensure my seed got the water it needed. When it originally kicks on and for a while maybe 8-10 minutes it works well keeps pressure no problem however after that it seems to slow down and lose 30-50% of its power. The strange thing is if I shut it off and start it again it’s right back to the pressure it started at and will run fine. Not sure what the issue is. I installed a good size garden hose setiment filter before it to ensure I kept it clear of any obstructions. It definitely helps but I’m not feeling the long term quality here.

Works well when attached to rain barrel
I set up a couple of rain barrels in my backyard to irrigate my vegetable garden. I attached the rain barrels to a drip irrigation system. However, water pressure was so low that the drip irrigation system didn’t work. Then I did some research and found this pump on Amazon. Setting up was a breeze. Now the water pressure is so high that I ended up having to add a pressure reducing valve in my irrigation system. Everything is working perfectly now. I recommend this to anyone who has a similar problem.Update: After functioning flawlessly for one year the pump developed ground fault issues. We had an unusual winter in New Orleans which included an extremely rare snow fall of about 10 inches in January. The snow completely covered the pump for 2 days. In early March I plugged in the pump and immediately GFCI breaker tripped and it happened repeatedly. I called Eco Worthy and they agreed to replace it under warranty but I had to pay $30 for shipping. Lesson learned. I will winterize the pump next time by draining all water and covering it with a plastic bag.

Dependable and durable
Reliable and does what its supposed to. I have 3 of these pumps now and not 1 issue over a year. Don't get much easier to use. Beats having a pressure tank or a submersible pump.
