This was my first purchase of arm sleeves - they are fantastic! I wear them mainly for being out in the sun for long periods while biking and gardening. They definitely protect my arms from UV. They're very stretchy and stay in place no matter what I'm doing. My bicep is about 25 cm around (on the small side) and they're neither tight nor baggy. Even when it's warm out, I don't notice my arms feeling too hot. I wash them inside out, and have washed them in the machine in a mesh bag and also hand washed them. They hang dry very quickly. I wear them so often now, I will definitely be buying more. Sun shirts are great, too; the difference is that you can mix and match these with any t-shirt or bike jersey, and they're less expensive.

Bought these on a whim because Amazon thought I'd like them. As soon as I put them on I was surprised at how well they cooled my arms. I have worn them on a few bike rides so far and I was impressed at the cooling I felt. The pros outweigh the cons, which are minimal. They do block out a significant amount of sun, but not all of it so someone fair skinned might want to also use a sunblock with these. I noticed that I still tanned while wearing them and at the end of the ride I felt a little bit of heat on my arms, but nothing that felt remotely like a sunburn. That's my reasoning for the four stars on the sun protection. Now on the cooling side of things, they worked excellent while we were moving on the bike, but if we stopped they felt a little warm. To be fair on this the temps were around 95, in mid day Carolina sun, and also for the sun blocking I'll add we were out in the sun riding for 6 hours. Comfort was great also. I am 6 feet tall and 200 pounds with an athletic build. I was able to slip them on over my arms with no problems. I also liked them so much that I bought two more pairs for my buddy, and my girlfriend. They also like them too. My girlfriend is 4'11" and small framed. They fit her fine without being loose or baggy. It got to the point that my buddy and I were joking that they should make underwear out of this stuff it's so comfortable and cooling. At the time I got these they were just under 10 dollars. I'd definitely buy these again.

Not as tight as I feared (I have big arms) but they occasionally start to roll down near my biceps. The fabric is stretchy and feels nice, but has pulled and gotten small snags from catching of rough surfaces. Not a big issue, but it did happen. Wearing the sleeves makes your arms feel every breeze as if it's cool & air conditioned. Noticably cool, in fact. Love the sensation. I bought these because I'm a driver and my forearm are always in the sun. To avoid sunburn and skin cancer I use high SPF sunscreen but that doesn't stop my arms from feeling the heat. These sleeves do just that. No more sweaty sensation of having my inner forearm resting on the windowsill, no more sun sorch while sitting in traffic. They're excellent. Bought another pair for a family member who gardens, and I'm going to get 1-2 more for myself as extras to swap around as the first set is drying. Oh yes, I hand wash these and hang to dry. I don't honestly recall what instructions came with it about laundry, but they're classified as Delicates as far as I'm concerned. They've held up well for the few weeks of hard use that I've given them so far.

For starters I will say I live in SE Texas, and we get pretty hot down here. I mainly wanted something to cover my arms so I don't tan or burn. Since I'm pretty light complected I either tan, or I'll either burn. I don't want to do either so I looked for sleeves. These claim to provide a cooling effect. Of course I was skeptical. I usually like black but black tends to absorb heat more so wasn't sure how well it'll work if I got black. So I chose the light blue colour. As far as uv protection, it's hard to say but I'm assuming it is protecting my arms since I've neither burned or tanned. I have no car so Mom and I walk to work (22 minutes to and from) and I work 4-5 days a week and I've been using them since I got them (about 2 or 3 months now?) and I will say they have NOT LOST their hold!! I'm extremely surprised that they are still nice and tight and hacent been worn out or started to roll down my arms yet! So I'd say they have great durability in that aspect! I have seen a few threads starting to snag a long my wrists but it's not too bad. The material isn't so thin and cheap that it'll unravel from a lose thread. Theure also pretty long. My arms are quite short so I can literally slide these all the way up my shoulder and still have it cover my hand and fingers. It's stretchy but will keep it's hold around your arm. If you have plus size arms or big muscles, it'll probably fit you tight and be too uncomfortable to wear for long periods of time. Now onto the cooling factor. I will say it does AND doesn't work. Does it keep you cool? Yes and no. Yes if there is a breeze/some wind. It'll keep you cool. Especially if you walk into a place with a you'll feelt the cooling INSTANTLY! Does it keep you cool when there is no wind? No, no it does not. BUT it also WILL NOT make you hotter. Unlike a sweater, hoodie or normal long sleeve shirt that will make you hotter when wearing in this summer heat, these sleeves do not make you hotter. You can wear them and feel comfortable. And again when you get that wind, ooohh baby do you feel some coolness! So again yes and no to the cooling effect. But take this with a grain of salt since this is MY experience we're talking about. And again I live in SE Texas. So for others they might feel more of a cooling effect than me depending on the area they live in and the humidity etc. But all in all these are great. The compression is nice as well. I say these are pretty decent to try out! And the prices aren't too bad either! I will definitely be buying more from this brand!

I just tried these sleeves while cycling, and the performance was great: good size, no squeezing of the arm. Good sun protection, not warm.

The material feels durable and hyper elastic But unfortunately they're undersized for me, wearing them feels too tight despite the elasticity These are probably great, just not for big arms

Worked really well for allowing me to participate in a scheduled golf outing after pulling a muscle in my upper arm. Had no issues or pain throughout nor afterward when it was removed. So very happy with the result and recommend highly.

Work great. Not hot wearing n covers my bruises. Not very noticeable.

These UV protection sleeves are surprisingly comfortable and a lovely colour too. They don’t pinch my skin and are easy to take on and off. No more sunburnt arms on the Padel courts!

Purchased as a gift for for a cyclist who has been wearing these several times a week for several months for his daily bicycle commute through traffic to work. He loves them and finds them comfortable and effective for everything that we wanted from them. Not sure that we would describe them as exactly “cooling” in hot weather, but not too bad - and they have been pleasantly warming during the cooler months.
