I'm going on a trip to Disneyland and I needed the extra battery life. I research the reviews and also the ones on YouTube to make sure it's worth it. The Sony one is $399 and way too much for something like this. I'm sure the quality is superb. When I received the Neewer vertical battery grip yesterday, I was amazed how it fit so perfect. The grip on it is awesome for big hands. I would recommend this product if you need longer battery life. I haven't tested the Neewer batteries provide, but I'll put them to the test tomorrow. This is one of the must haves in your arsenal.Update 10/25,2022: I've tested the battery and it lasted a good amount of time. I used one at a time to see how long the life of it would last and held up pretty well. Again I would recommend this product for the price and deal with the battery charger and 2 extra batteries.

The fit and function of this grip is really good. It pairs nicely and works as intended. The double battery design lasts a really long time, which is surprising on the A72. You can tell that it is not Sony, but it doesn't take away from what it is for and how it works.

Worked great for my Sony A7 Rii camera with doubling my battery life and adding excellent grip ergonomics. The build quality was very good and matched the camera well. I was just going to purchase a couple of additional batteries and charger, but for a small incremental cost , I could get 2 batteries ... a charger and nice camera grip. The Sony grip is ~ 300.00 so this is a great value and the buttons I have used so far all work as designed.

If you don't want to spend $300 on Sony's original battery handles as well! I am impressed with this Neewer Vertical Battery Grip Kit, especially considering how much cheaper than the Sony brand grip! It still runs perfectly after 2 months! Btw, it's quite simple to operate! You only need to install two batteries, the camera will automatically display the battery life of each battery on the LCD, and then you can start using it. Not only do you get double battery life, but the grip makes the camera more ergonomic. So if you are looking for a low-cost battery handle, THIS is the one!

I use it on a Sony a7 ii which is known for draining batteries. What I loved most about the battery grip was its plug and play nature and it gave me everything I was looking for at a great price! Cons are at the bottom.I wouldn't call this a con it's more of an idea, when you insert the battery grip into the camera's battery compartment you have to remove the door for the camera battery compartment which I had a hard time finding a safe place to put the door, so I was thinking it would be helpful in the future if you put a storage space on the grip that the door could fit in.One thing I forgot to mention is the battery tray in the grip is really hard to get out and that's why I'm only giving it 4 stars

This grip was listed for use with a Sony a6000 camera. To use you have to remove the battery cover on the camera, because the dummy battery is not removable from the grip. The battery cover on the a6000 is not made to be removed. The other grips I've seen the dummy battery is removable. I reordered a Wasabi grip and it works fine and easily installed, with no modification of the camera.

Grip, batteries, and charger included! Does two at once and quickly as a matter of fact. I like how slim the case, makes it sooo easy to take them anywhere. The grip gives me not only longer battery life but comfort when handling my camera in vertical. Makes me feel steady and shoot steadier. It's really nice all around.

So far so good. I have yet to use the setup a ton but the batteries appear to hold a charge as well as if not better than the sony OEM battery. The grip fully functions and integrates into with the camera to operate with the electronic buttons which is nice. Overall happy with the experience and time will tell how well it works over time.
