We got this repeller and placed it on our front porch. The squirrels jump from the tree to the roof to enter the attic. Within 2 hours they were exiting and pretty mad chattering their displeasure from the tree before leaving the yard. But the added bonus is that we sat on the porch at dusk and not 1 mosquitoe.. we live in the deep south so that is huge. We highly recommend this device. The multiple levels on it is great. Thanks

The Redeo Ultrasonic Mouse Repellent saved my piece of mind. We saw one mouse in the house--- there were more. Yep, droppings from the bedroom & bath, into the kitchen cabinets, the walls, and along floor boards..Hypervigelant and on edge, We slept with lights and radio on for three nights. During the day we applied traps--- the food was gone, but not captured rodent. We purchased the Redeo Ultrasonic Mouse Repellent and finally slept. There were no more rodents climbing through our home. We saw no more droppings throughout the house..Yes, we cleaned everything --- wearing masks and gloves we vacuumed, scrubbed, and patched up holes. We still sleep with the Ultrasonic machine on in various rooms..We adjust the settings during the day for sounds and motion. At night, only the silent ultrasonic waves..It has not bothered our pets, though we have seen less squirrels at the bird feeder outside our windows. We called this an extra perk!.Living near a canyon, our neighbors on both sides of our home had rats. No longer are we on-edge. No Pixar Halloween in our home..We will purchase for our attic and garage for additional piece of mind.

Personally I can't see using it in anything other than the highest strength volume in dual mode but since some people like me can hear it when it's on the high setting, if it will be near where you work or sleep you may want to have it set lower than the high setting. There is an option to transmit the modulating ultrasonic frequency, or the base frequency (at low/medium/high volume choices), or both at once. Obviously both at once is the recommended and logical setting for most use.I like the modulating ultrasonic frequency concept, too, so it's not just one frequency for pests to get used to or to be a frequency that maybe doesn't bother a certain species. I don't know scientifically how much better that works but it sounds (pun intended) like a really smart idea.The unit is large vs. the little plug in units we have that are barely bigger than an outlet plug, but this definitely creates a much larger volume, and therefore a more aggressive deterrent, which is great. The cord is just long enough to reach the ground from outlets that are waist high, the way most of our garage outlets are placed.

we had a squirrel or two in our attic, and we wanted a humane way to get rid of them. This device seems to have accomplished that! I like the test mode where you can hear the chirping, because when you put it in rodent deterrent mode, the human ear cannot pick up the sounds or vibrations. The device has been in use for about a month now. We are quite satisfied with this purchase.

No mode on this device deter nor repels squirrels.

I bought 2 of these 6 months ago. Been having rats in the attic and we couldn't find how they got in. Tried poison over the year, chicken wire, foam.. nothing kept them out. I was really very skeptical about these Ultrasonic devices but out of desperation I bought 2 and stuck them above the Cabinet at both ends of the house. Not a rat in sight since. I keep waiting for the rats to come back but it's been 6 months. I am so relieved these worked and ordered 2 more just for when these break.
