Sawyer Products SP624 Permethrin, Permethrin for Dogs Insect Repellent Treatment

I can't speak to applying this directly to your dog (I would definitely talk to a vet first...) but I did use this on my dog's harness and bandana, as well as the picnic blankets she was lying on, when we went on a trip to Michigan in the height of tick season. We didn't see a single tick on her, so I think it's safe to say it works. Would definitely buy again, not that I need to (the bottle is huge!)

Gave this spray its first trial run today by testing it on my socks and my dog. After a long walk through stick infested park, I found a dead lone star tick on my ankle. This stuff managed to kill it on contact. No ticks spotted on the dog either!

This has been the best addition to my dogs tick prevention when hiking. I spray their paws & legs before each hike. It does not work for more than a day- I have hiked back to back days and they will come back with ticks if I havent reapplied. My dogs are also on Nexgard and have seresto collars but this product is a great addition before hiking in high tick areas.

Smells a little funny, but we use this to protect the blankets in my dog’s crate. Seems to work well enough.

I sprayed down my clothes before hunting but not my brothers (needed a control subject). I had zero ticks for the weekend and he was absolutely covered in them. This stuff is incredible!

This stuff is AMAZING. Living out in the country, people dump their dogs out here often. We had a sweet little pup show up covered in ticks and fleas. We sprayed her once and the next day 95% of the ticks had fallen off. I was amazed. We spray it on our big fluffy doodle dogs and the first time we didn't see a dramatic change but the second time we made sure to get it down to their skin and it worked!

Really didn't work. I did spray my dogs but maybe I under sprayed them. I know that my Yorkie did have diarrhea twice and so did my Golden Retriever the next day. So It must of done something. We sprayed them over the weekend 5 days ago and yesterday I found a tick on one of my dogs ears. So I am thinking I will just use this for the bedding, etc.Also we spray permethrin in our yard and that usually works but we have sprayed 5 times so far this spring till now in July. We sprayed twice last week. The ticks are really really bad this year. So just can't keep Up. I just bought the Tickless Ultrasonic and Rose Geranium Essential oil. Dr Judy Morgan on Youtube said to use just 1 drop between the shoulder blade and on the butt. That would be all you need. So I'm gonna try that too. Make sure it's pure Essential oil.
