Love it - innovation doesn't have to be based on brainstorming and luck!!!
I'm so glad this book is finally out. I have heard him talk at two different companies that I have worked at, where he eloquently summarized these very same concepts. This book is so needed today, as opposed to the million books on innovation that offer little more that ideas for being creative while brainstorming. This also fits perfectly with my own focus on "systematic innovation with TRIZ"... I think of it as innovation without the B.S., where BS stands for Brain Storming. Combined with TRIZ, even the ideation stage can be very systematic, or when you generate great concepts but you see contradictions where improvement in one things means a degradation in other.I'm teaching a course at ASU on "systematic innovation with TRIZ" and this is going to be required reading. So, I can't recommend it enough to anyone thinking about buying this book.Congratulations to you, Larry! (from David Troness)

A practical Guide
As a company CEO, I am always seeking learning opportunities for our company leadership and to challenge our business assumptions. I had anticipated a long, esoteric treatise, on innovation that would be fascinating but impossible to use in a practical and meaningful way. What a surprise!!! This is a very practical and useful guide to stimulate how we can rethink the value we bring to our market and indeed what markets we really serve. The numerous examples provided enabled me to see how all levels of our organization can appreciate the concepts and hence be brought in to the process of innovation. Many thanks Mr Keeley and team!!!

Innovation as a discipline? With this book it's within reach!
This book seem not to have sold well. I cannot understand this. This is one of the most eminent books on innovation I have ever seen. It explained my successes and failures and it's putting innovation into a harness of definition, in effect doing what it promises to do, making Innovation becoming largely a discipline which can be taught, executed and measured. Only drawback is that the cards associated with the practical implementation of the methods in the book are impossible to buy?!

Change your thinking about innovation
When you ask people what they think of when they think of innovation, they think Iphone, Prius, Fitbit. This focus on technology and product as the only innovations is not only misguides, but also dangerous. The success of Apple and the Ipod was not the result of the i;pod alone, but also the pricing structure of each song and the Apple store. This book will help you get out of thinking of innovation as a monolithic construct and start mixing and matching different kinds of innovation for maximum success.

A great source for moving beyond incremental innovation
It’s refreshing to read an innovation book that isn’t just about post-it notes and ideation sessions. Keeley + team provide a strong framework that allows you to make systematic decisions, pushing you beyond incremental innovation and dispelling the myth that innovation is fluffy. The book is not only beautiful to look at, but it is also beautifully organized, with hundreds of company examples to make the “Ten Types of Innovation” come to life. I see myself using this book as a reference throughout my career.
