This is the second Alice Makabe book I have bought. Really pretty adaptable designs with clear instructions to make completed embroidered items. The author uses linen fabric and cotton embroidery floss but you can use other materials if you prefer. Includes all the information you need - the materials and tools to use, how to transfer designs onto fabric, the embroidery techniques and clear diagrams and templates to make little bags or decorative framed designs. Beautiful photography that will inspire you. Good for beginners or the more experienced. Enjoy.
