SBR Rails Precision Cross Slide 1605 CNC Ballscrew Linear Slide 100mm-1000mm Linear Stage Slide Module for CNC Router X Y Z Aixs (100mm)

Machining is pretty good on the four hundred mm model I got to be a z axis. I can push the slide up and down by hand and there's no wobble or misalignment. Top mount on the ball screw is sized and tapped for a NEMA 23 motor which mounts on easily. I put a 1.5 kw spindle on it so it's off balance and front heavy but is still solid and moves easily. Lots of mounting holes are pre-drilled making things easy to mount. Very happy with this and it arrived in a couple weeks like expected. Would be cheaper to make one myself but for the convenience and quality I'm happy with it. There are a couple dents and marks but nothing bad and nothing that would affect performance.

I ordered 2 of these for a horizontal microscopy stage, a 100mm and 200mm. The 100mm stage arrived with significant resistance at the shaft. I traced it back to an excessively tight coupling of the bearings to the rails.The 200mm stage arrived in extremely poor shape with numerous scratches and obviously misaligned rail bases, looking as if it was built from scrap parts. The base had very poorly drilled holes, with one of the mounting holes being a 2:1 oval.In summary, these stages are partially functional, have a simple, practical and functional design, and an extremely poor build quality.

Nice machining on this slide, I am adding a spindle to it and using for my Z axis on my DIY CNC mill. Seems to be pretty rigid.

This arrived in only a couple days and was exactly as promised. I still need to figure out how to mount it on my homemade CNC but seems very sturdy and will be a nice upgrade from what I am currently using. Would love to see pictures of how others have mounted this to their spindles and which brackets they used.

This product arrive 3 weeks early and was not expecting it when it arrived. Learning how to make my own cnc, it would have taken me months to learn how to do this and below the cost of parts, plus equipment.
