They make the best sanding blocks
I am a modeler. I use these Aluminum bars/blocks as sanding blocks. I use rubber cement to adhere different grits of sandpaper to the blocks. Each side is a different grit. Also, sharpening exacto blades is a breeze, with the blocks being square, flat and true. I use 1000 grit sandpaper for sharpening.

Perfect Anniversary Gift

I don't have a problem with it for the price, but beware if you need actual dimensions... It actually measures 1.97, dead on 50mm.

It's a block!!!
