Good item it does what it supposed to do but after a couple of times you use it feels like losing it's power to sharpen.

Wears out quickly
This file is good when new but loses its "diamond" coating quickly

Just what I needed! .
With only a little effort, I now have razor sharp edges on my pruning clippers. This sharpener works great. It took a month to arrive from England, but the ground is still frozen where I live, so that wasn't an inconvenience. It would have been nice if the file had a cover, but it won't be a big deal to wrap it in paper or cloth when I am done with it.
