Case works to protect the phone there is a lip around the screen and camera for extra protection, the back is clear so the glpyh interface is visible, however it does cut off part of the power button side lighting, do to the black frame around the clear back. I would have a hard time recommending this case over another one being the silver side buttons seem like they are going to eventually fall right off, as they are loose and move/click when touched. Personally I'm not willing to find out the longevity of this case and will be returning this to purchase something else.

People complaining about it being dirty obviously didn't check to see if there was a film stuck on both sides. Peeled both sides off and its perfectly clear!5*
