Basically, the reason why I got this item is because people kept leaving the door open and the door in particular made it so that my cats could easily get out and that is not something that I will ever allowed to happen so I got this item and it has tremendously helped. I used both so that the door would kind of slam shut no matter where The door was left. One person in particular started not shutting doors after we complained that they were slamming doors and it was just obnoxious to slam doors in the house shared with other people because some people are sleeping and it’s just a rude thing to do in general so they started just leaving the doors open And never shutting any door that they walked into unless it was their room and they were in it, but if they left, they’d leave their door open. Very dirty person as well so we didn’t want the cats in there anyway long story short side works great.

I am really happy with these.Easy to install, adhesive works great, and helps keep doors closed from our furry friend.I love the fact that it's easy to disengage when you don't want the store to close automatically.It would be ideal if it could be a little gentler closing, but it still deserves five stars.Solves A real issue at our house inexpensively, and with ease.I'll order another four.

So it worked great, I'm only deducting a star because it's not very durable. I opened the door a bit too far today without thinking and it just broke entirely. It won't retract anymore. I'm getting a replacement though bc my cat finally can't open the door that won't latch.

Bought it a month and 5 days ago. 5 days after the return window closed for it it snapped right out of the housing and shot across my yard. :( I'm very sad. It seemed to work so great. It just wasn't made very sturdy. I'm uninstalling the one from inside my house now out of fear it might snap off and hit one of my kids in the small space.

It was easy too install and has a lot of tension. It was cheap and also was able to close my door. But eventually after awhile it would just fall off the wall.

I added a screen to my patio door so during the cooler days it can be open without the bugs getting in (Florida). Unfortunately my dog very quickly learned how to open it, defeating the object.I added one if these little devices, and now the dog can open the screen, get through and it closes itself behind her.I didn't need to use any screws, just bought a 2nd sticky pad from the store and it shows no sign of coming off.I would recommend this product.
