Easy to use and works well. Makes a nice circular opening. Sometimes need to tilt it multiple times to catch the edge of the top shell to remove, but still easy to use

I found that eggs from different suppliers make the difference in the amount of pressure that I use. Some eggs have thicker shells and some are thinner. I found out that the first egg of the dozen that I use will let me know how much pressure it'll take for the "drop" for the rest of the carton. Even when the top part of the shell is still in the topper, it lifts out easily. It's so much nicer than trying to open the egg free-hand. :)

I think this is probably an okay product, but so far it's been hit and miss. I've had a couple of decent results, but a lot more failed ones. It takes some getting used to. The jury is still out.

I browsed for a gift for my aunt and found this eggsecutor egg topper. Loved the name. lol and as it wasn’t too expensive I added it to my cart. I had no idea how useful this egg topper would be! I am very impatient but peeling a hot egg with my bare fingers isn’t fun. Plus the struggle when you can’t get the eggshell off perfectly. Ikyk! Still can’t get over the name either. Eggcellent idea! Hahah I’m keeping this one but will keep this in mind when I need a small, practical but funny gift in the future.

I bought this as a stocking stuffer for my husband who likes soft boiled eggs but struggles to crack them. He looked at me like.....??..... I assured him it got great reviews. He loved it!!! It works best if the egg is secured....so go ahead and buy some egg cups to go with it. The product itself is made of stainless steel and very substantial. Would highly recommend.
