SannitiTraditional Barley Malt Syrup, 20 oz

I am going to be using this to make my own crackers.I will update this review when I've tried the finished crackers but it looks and smells to be what it says it is.Shipping could be a problem as it appeared to be thoroughly wrapped but still leaky.Perhaps sellers of syrups and fluids of all types would be wise to place a strip of frog tape over the area most likely to leak in transit and avoid a lot of returns, credits and messes??

I had been looking for that old time smell, taste, and texture of a soda fountain malted milk shake. A few scoops of good vanilla ice cream, a teaspoon of the thick, malty, sweet syrup, a splash of milk, and some chocolate syrup and you have a great thickly textured, malty smelling, old time Chocolate Malted Milk Shake!Great value because you can use it for so many other things like bread making, or beer!!!!

Worst chocolate malted milk ever. This stuff doesn’t begin to mix with the ice cream. It just turns to a hard lump. So much for the old-fashioned malts. Guess I’ll stick with the powder.

Item did arrive leaking but I was able to transfer to a new jar to use.Syrup looks, smells and tastes good.Will purchase again if I need to in the future

Makes great bagels!

If you're ever making traditional bagels at home from scratch, this is a must for that unmistakable flavor and color. I've tried everything else, honey, molasses, brown sugar, maple sugar, even malt powder.....The only con and this is really nit picking but this can be fun to measure out. It's VERY thick and viscus.

Makes my bagels better.
