cheap cost, easy install, fits perfectly.
Cost under 5 dollars, less than a minute to install and it works perfectly. If you are nervous about trying to change it yourself don't be it's so easy. Look at the existing flapper on your toilet and make sure you know whether to get a 2 inch (baseball or orange sized) or 3 inch (softball or grapefruit sized).I have to say I read the reviews and one reviewer told in detail how he installed it without shutting the water off. I did as he suggested, I cut the middle mounting part just leaving the two wing sides, flushed the toilet to get the water out, and instead of holding the float arm up I used an artists paint brush placed horizontally over the toilet lip front to back with the float arm over it to hold it up. Then removed the old flapper and slipped this one on. Then used the chain length on the old one to figure out how much chain to use on the new one, situated the chain length hooked it onto the float arm and I was done.I don't know long the flapper will last, but the one I removed was the same kind and i've lived here for 13 years, if it stops working in a short period of time I will amend my review. If I don't, assume that it's still working.

Better Than the One My Plumber Installed
Easy to install, does what it's supposed to do. The rubber is flexible so it will last longer than the stiffer type of flapper that, from my experience, tends to lose its ability to create an effective seal for a reasonable length of time.

Very good flapper for older toilets !
This is a great flapper for an older toilet ! My toilet in my basement is from the 1970's and was running from time to time . I installed this Fluidmaster flapper and problem solved no more running toilet . Was very easy to install too,I didn't even have to turn the water off ! I highly recommend this flapper if you have an older toilet . It says right on the package before 1994 !

Simple, good quality, good price and instant fix
This flapper went on without a hitch, and the instructions are clear to choose whether you need it around the pipe or attached via the arms on the pipe.Took about 1 minute to put on, replacing a ten-year-old one that was raggedy. Fixed my water leak issue instantly.

Did what it’s supposed to do
Brought this to fix a toilet that kept running. Was inexpensive and did the job. No problems here.

Leaked initially, but looks like that was my fault
I had used one of these flappers for my downstairs toilet a couple years back, and it worked just fine. When the upstairs toilet needed a new flapper recently, I got another one of these again. The replacement went quickly and seemed okay initially. Unfortunately I found that this one had a slow leak in the seal, and I'd hear the toilet top off the tank periodically.I was thinking I'd need to replace the prior overflow and flush valve to better match the new flapper (and was not looking forward to the steps involved in that), but when I popped the lid off to take another look at it earlier today, I noticed the chain to the flapper seemed almost taut. I detached the chain and attached it again with more slack. No leaking since then! =D My initial estimate of which chain link to use was probably off, and was keeping it from getting a good seal.
