Q: Hello, is each tablet 325mg or 106 mg? The description mentions 106 mg and the photo shows 325mg...please let me know as soon as possible.

The elemental iron is 106mg from 325 mg ferrous fumarate. My Dr. has me taking this and it is easier on your system. It helped to no longer be anemic.

Q: Did the coating of these change? My past orders had red colored coating. The ones that arrived seem to have no coating.

I’ve had always gotten the red coating ones. The bottle I have expires in December 2025.

Q: What's the difference between ferrous fumarate and ferrous sulfate?

Ferrous fumarate and ferrous sulfate are two different chemicals. The sulfate is more common, you can get it in any drugstore, but ferrous fumarate releases more available iron into your system. Some people tolerate one more easily than the other but only trial and error will answer that for you. As for myself, I don’t have any problems with ferrous fumarate and it’s what my blood specialist recommended. Ordering it through your local drugstore is, in my experience, quite expensive. Ferretts is a good product - I have been taking it every day for years without problems (on my doctor’s orders).
