The instructions are detailed and great for a beginner like me. The pattern is stamped on the fabric, which is immensely appreciated and helpful. Pictures are included with the instructions as well. Great product for anyone of any level of expertise! Fun for anyone of any age.

I purchased this so I could make it and gift it. I use to do this with my grandmother as a child so I was excited to get this. It comes with everything you need. Very easy and enjoyable for anyone. When I finish these I’ll purchase more patterns 😀

I bought this kit because I wanted a quick embroidery project that had a pattern pre-printed on the fabric and I liked the mushroom designs. I'm still new to embroidery, but I've done a few beginner kits before. For my purposes, this kit was exactly what I wanted.However, I don't recommend this for beginners who are looking for instructions or videos to accompany the kit. The website in the instructions isn't functional. There's a similarly named youtube channel, but it doesn't have videos for all the designs. The printed instructions are pretty sparse and it's hard to follow exactly what the single photo shows. If you're OK trying to guess or researching the stitches yourself, get this kit. If that's a little out of your comfort level with embroidery, I'd recommend trying a different seller's kit before this one. Especially because there is no step by step provided for the design. It's just a printout showing which stitches, color, and number of stands are used for each shape.The recommended stitches are OK. There's a lot of 2 strand satin stitches which I find tedious because it takes awhile to fill in and the strands can get twisted for beginners. Some of the larger areas to fill use an outline stitch (which is also called a stem stitch). This reduces the individual stitches that the guide needs to show, but I'd probably recommend a short and long stitch as practicing that stitch with a single color helps for more advanced patterns later on.Each mushroom design's 01 floss is the main color on the mushroom cap, which is the centerpiece of the design. I'd recommend starting with the foliage stems for a newbie. Outline/stem stitch is essential and using it to follow a gentle curve helps hone your skills faster than a satin stitch. The shorter stitch also means you don't have to worry so much about tension, like you would with a satin stitch. The instructions for the satin stitch are bad. Start in the middle of the shape so that your first stitch stablizes the fabric. You might think it's easier to start from one end and work your way over, but this will cause the fabric to pucker. The instructions for the French knot are terrible. Watch a video on those instead, or try a Colonial Knot if you can't get the French Knot to stay on the fabric. Sometimes it takes me multiple tries to get a French Knot right.

These are so cool! It comes with plenty of string and extra needles. The patterns are so fun!

This is definitely worth the price! My friends and I got together to try something new. It is fairly easy to figure out the stitches and is something you can do while hanging out with friends. The only thing that I disliked was the string had to be untangled and took a lot of time to get started. We didn’t get these done in one day, but for beginners, this was the easiest to get started.

I love them. I did all of them and gave them his gifts and those those people love them so I would definitely buy these again and it’s a good value for the money.

The fabric included is a good weight, somewhat heavier than I normally work with. The design print is clear, but wears away easily if you have to remove stitches. Very disappointed in the quality of embroidery floss supplied. It is super soft and tends to feather when pulled through the cloth. I've cast it aside for DMC. I do like the quality of the plastic hoops provided. The inner groove hold the fabric firmly while working on the project. I doubt I will use these for framing as I tend to prefer bamboo or wood hoops for thatI wish they offered a version without the hoops and the included floss, but provide DMC color numbers instead.But for the price point, I can pass on the included thread to kids to use for crafting.

I learned embroidery!!!! Awhile back I bought this kit and learned embroidery from it and now after doing numerous kits and becoming experienced and selling my work, I have to say it all started with this kit!! Yes the instructions suck, but just go on YouTube. There’s a fair amount of variety here between the 3 kits which helps when learning; the green one is by far my most favorite! I also saw someone posted a photo of the green pattern having it “done in a day” and having done none of the stitches right lol but even with crazy stitches and poor work the green pattern still showed it’s beauty!! This was such a good buy! Would 💯 recommend to all!!

I absolutely love this pack now I know what I'm doing. The instructions weren't very clear. I would HIGHLY recommend consulting youtube for a beginners guide and for instructions on stitches that are unclear, it made this process so much easier.Also, DO NOT iron the fabric before you do the design, it disappears completely when you iron it so iron it after you're all done. Trust me.Only thing I want people to know before buying is if this is your first time, the strands of thread split into 6 so when it says 3 strands you split them in half and use 3 strands... I was trying to fit 3 whole pieces of thread through the needles like an idiot. I would also recommend buying a needle threader, they're pennies in the shops to avoid the frustration of not being able to thread the needles.Overall, a great pack, lovely designs and happy customer.

Love the price. Love doing it. Instructions not easy to follow. Would not say suitable for a complete beginner
