Does the job
I think it's silly that we need a special tool just to remove the fan clutch but this product functions well. I grabbed it on here while I was ordering other products for my e46. Sturdy enough to get the job done. Overall great product.

Gets the job done but with some tweaks this tool would be perfect.
Used this on my 2004 BMW 330i sedan to remove mechanical fan.Pros:-Thick 1/4 chrome plated steel that should last forever.Cons:-Only one of the two holes fits, which is fine but if both holes fit it would be more secure. I may attemp to enlarge one of the holes to try and get both holes to fit.-I think this tool will fit better if there was a slight offset. I may add an offset myself as an improvement to the tool. But otherwise this tool is straight and I find i need to angle it slightly with all the coolant hoses and stuff in the way. By angling this tool, it also gives the 32mm open ended wrench I have less room to fit beside it. If you have the flatter wrench then this is no concern to you.

One Star
did the job but is not made to a high standard of precision.

It Works
It held the pump pulley in place like it was supposed to. Not much else to say, really.

It doesnt work! The tool should have some kind ...
It doesnt work! The tool should have some kind of bend on it. When you try (emphasis on TRY) to get the tool locked on the pulley bolts, the end of the tool hits the thermostat housing and wont hold the pulley. If you try to remove fan from underneath the car ,the tool is not long enough.. I ended up buying a different one (made in the USA) and the fan was off in 3 mins...

Not bad.
Does the job. Have to get it exactly right on the money to work. But it works. That is what matters.

It's thickness makes it a little hard to fit on if you are using a regular 32mm wrench but it's a good weight.
I couldn't find an S52 specific holder tool so I bought this one. They correctly state that it doesn't fit the S52.Luckily it could latch one on head and work as a pry bar. It's thickness makes it a little hard to fit on if you are using a regular 32mm wrench but it's a good weight.
