Rugged and secure!
I got two, 1 for my JeepGrand and 1 for the wife JeepCompass because I recently got a vehicle stolen. So far it appears to be very sturdy. It wrapped through the stering wheel with no issue, connecting it's end piece securely into the driver side seat belt fastener was easy and I like how the secure plastic covers securely the entire seat belt connector not allowing any one to compromise or detach it from the clasp.

Great Deterrent
This steering wheel lock is easy to use. I bought it mainly as a deterrent for when I park my Lexus LS500 where I feel there's a greater than average risk of theft. It could be defeated by cutting the seat belt it's connected to. But the integrated cover that conceals the seat belt connector it plugs into would make that a fairly difficult task.Pros:The "safety yellow" cover over the cable is easily seen by would-be thieves. The heavy wire rope (cable) would not be easy to cut with a bolt cutter because it has multiple strands. The lock and cable can be stored in my car's center console. The type of lock (keyed rather than combination) is quick to open and close. The seatbelt connector cover helps prevent defeat of the lock. That the cable loops through itself around the steering wheel is a plus.Cons:The keyed lock is also a con due to the potential to lose the key after locking it.Overall I'm happy with this lock. All steering locks can be defeated in various ways. But I like this better than The Club, for example, because it's less cumbersome and can be stored in the console.

Kia's best friend
This product looks funky at first and weird to use if it's your first time using a wheel lock of this kind, but it's actually simple to use and very secure. Must buy if your car keeps getting broken into like mine (kia).

NOT “one size fits all”
I was really, really excited about this device. However, when I tried it on my car’s seatbelt, it did not fit. My vehicle is an older model made in 2000. I don’t know if this is a characteristic of just this model or of older vehicles in general, but I noticed that the metal buckle on my seatbelt was rectangular while this product’s was more square-ish. I felt kind of defeated at first, confused as to why this wasn’t working for me.I didn’t stop there though. One of my parents has a slightly newer van, probably made around 2009-2012. When I tried this contraption on their seatbelt, it worked PERFECTLY! Absolutely perfect! After my small discoveries about the buckle differences in the first vehicle, it wasn’t much of a surprise to see this second buckle with a more boxy, square shape like I figured this product required to work properly. So, for those with a newer car which this product can work on, you’re in luck!! This steering wheel seatbelt lock is reeeally simple to learn how to use. It’s very intuitive with a cool, innovative design. Also, just like many of the reviews said, the material of this thing is going to be difficult to break. If it weren’t for the fact this is NOT actually universal to all cars like the details claimed, I would’ve given this product 5 stars. I might still keep it though in case I ever get a newer car. We’ll see!

Buy it, you’ll be glad you did!
Works and looks great! Was worried about possible steering wheel damage but it won’t harm the wheel. Easy to install and remove. Gives you a little bit more anti-theft protection. Bought one for my wife’s car as well

Stopped a Car Robbery
In what may seem like a case of extreme coincidence, this device stopped my car from getting stolen in less then a week of buying it. I’ve been living at my apartment complex for almost 5 years. In that time, I’ve never had any issues myself but have noticed the sporadic act of vandalism and theft here and there. For the past few months, I’ve been working from home, leaving my car parked more often than not (that being said, I do drive it at least once a week). Thieves tend to go for vehicles they believe are unattended, as such, I bought this device as a way of being proactive instead of reactive. Well, it sure came in handy because my car was broken into a few days ago. Nothing was stolen, which leads me to believe that the main purpose was to steal the vehicle but the perpetrator(s) noticed the device, went into panic mode, and decide to leave as it was not worth it. The device itself is very secure and won’t budge anywhere once inserted, so I can’t recommend it enough. All of this is to say, that you ALWAYS want to try and be proactive instead of reactive. Even if you feel as if you live in the most secure neighborhood on planet earth, at some point or another you will park your car in a public space, somewhere that someone might use as an opportunity to commit a crime. As such, it’s better to be prepared and secure your vehicle to have peace of mind that you did everything in your power to make their job much harder.

Nice to have.
Nice little gadget that fits around your steering wheel and locks into your seatbelt buckle, and it’s nice that you were able to get in and out of the car without having to stand up and put this thing on. Because during bad or severe weather, you don’t wanna be standing outside your car trying to get things on. As for durability from someone wanting to steal your car, it’s anyone’s guess. However, as a deterrent, I believe it works well.
