I bought these to fix a desk chair that kept sinking, and they worked perfectly! The variety of sizes made it easy to find the exact pieces we needed to maintain our preferred chair height. While they were a bit tough to snap into place at first, that actually helped them stay securely fastened without shifting or popping open. After feeling like a little kid at the adult dinner table while working at my desk only to realize that my chair's piston had died, I found this fix and it is perfect.I think most of us adjust our chairs once and leave them at that height permanently, which is what happens when using this product - the chair height is set and cannot be adjusted. The rings come in different lengths there are many (15) different heights a chair can be set at, so at least one will be the right height.Installing took me literally seconds. Once the chair's piston is at the length needed for the height you want it's easy to just measure the piston arm (silver part, usually) and find the right combination of rings for what's needed. Putting the rings on the piston arm is very fast and easy and that's all ther is to it!The bottom line is that this product allowed me to continue using my existing office chair rather than replacing it or at least its piston, and saved me a lot of money that way. I very much recommend it.

I have tried 4 different fixes for my office chair. The first 3 failed to keep my hydraulic chair from losing altitude, usually while I was on a video call. This item was the easiest to install, least expensive and the ONLY one that worked! I am glad I finally found a fix and did not need to buy a whole new chair

Works well. Far less expensive then buying a new chair. Just wish there were additional smaller cuffs I could get.

Works like a charm. Fair warning, two of the three I used on my chair (what can I say, I like a tall chair!) required... Persuasion to lock into place. Don't be worried if at first it feels you won't ever get them in place, just keep squeezing and it will pop into place immediately. You can't see it once it's installed, so you won't have to worry about anyone commenting on it's looks, and once it's in place it's incredibly stable. DEFINITELY recommended.
