Worked as it should
I had one of these years ago unfortunately someone else liked it more than I did so I ran into some broken exhaust manifold bolts remembering my old tool I ordered this new one and it worked perfectly no drilling made the job easy

Works great!
2002 F-250 broken manifold bolts. Removed 8 of 10 without drilling. Definitely recommend. Take your time with lots of PB Blaster or similar and they will come out! Great product!

Works well
This tool does what it says, I have a lot of studs to remove from aluminum cylinder heads in order to get them ready for scrap the steel studs need to be removed from the aluminum heads along with other items such as the cam and valves and other non-aluminum parts. I was using locking vise grip pliers to remove the studs but it was slow and my hands were getting sore from constantly snapping the locking pliers on the studs. However, the tool requires a fair amount of room to spin around the stud since it is offset when it turns and the studs do get stuck in the tool if it is very hard to remove them. It also damages the stud when it takes it out. So there are a few studs it can't remove if they are too close to an adjacent stud or raised surface on the head and sometimes I have to knock the inner locking cam loose on the tool with a hammer to get the removed stud out of the tool. It is made to be removed and snaps right back together after I get the cam loose and the stud drops out. In spite of that I still like it and recommend it and would buy it again. It works well for most of the stud removals and sure beats the painstakingly slow and difficult removal by my old method of locking vise grip pliers to remove the studs.

It will get the stud out if it will come out at all.
It is sturdy and will not break. It is large and may not fit in tight coders (multiple studs together). The tool cannot be kept vertical while struggling to remove a stubborn stud. This causes it to grip diagonally and will cause striation crevices in the stud. This may not matter, but if it does, you may have to purchase new studs. Still, it you need the studs out, its all worth it.

Just what I needed just in time. Thank you Amazon
The stud extractor worked great on a broken manifold stud. I bought two of them. One for me and one to lend to friends.

Does not grab
I read other reviews, decided to give it a try, thru holes are drilled, and bolt slides on that surface. Tools with this design have teeth to bite the bolt, mine never did 3/8 diameter, just slid around. Was upset I waited days for this and nothing to show for the wait. very durable sitting in the box as you will never use it again

Works great but takes a couple tries to learn how to use it effectively
It does what it is designed to do and it does it fast and efficient allowing you to remove that damaged stud and move on with the project. Only downside is there is a little bit of a trick to get it seated fully but once you do it works great.

Removes broken studs with ease
Works really well strong grip easy to use

Too large for tight spaces.
I am sure I will eventually have a use for this tool, but unfortunately it is a little large to do the task that I had in mind for it. I wanted to remove a rounded nut from my wheel, but it's not suitable for using in a restricted space
