Convenient, attractive, good quality
Really happy with this purchase. The quality is good; all the pieces fit together perfectly and it feels sturdy. I love that the lid just sits on top, so you only need one hand to lift it off (not like a tupperware where you need both hands to pry it off); and because everything is well-made (all the surfaces are straight), the lid sits perfectly and basically seals the bucket closed, so no smells or flies are getting in/out. The little hook on the lid is also super handy: you just lift the lid off and then hook it on the side of the bucket while you put scraps in. It's a great size; easy to dishwash; no complaints, would totally recommend.

Perfect for tiny kitchens
This all began because I wanted a compost container that I could also bang my espresso basket on without breaking the whole thing to pieces. And it had to fit in my tiny kitchen. Ceramic? Too fragile. Stainless? Not actually stainless and rusts like crazy. Filter-top lids? The filters aren't replaceable. Step-to-open lid? Huge waste of space. Plain bowl on the counter? Compost only goes out once a week and I don't have room in the freezer.Enter: This plain-as-mud but perfect-in-every-way sturdy plastic bin. It's just a plastic bin with a lid. But it's the perfect size. And the lid hooks onto the side so you don't have to find a spot for it during meal prep. There are no little handle crevices on the lid so there are no nooks and crannies to worry about when washing it.The bin itself has a little removable plastic rim that would effectively hold a compostable bag in place if I needed one. (PSA: Not all compost facilities will take compost bags—please check before bagging your scraps!) The carry handle rotates easily and folds down nice and low so it doesn't stick out. There's a really easy attachment system if you want to move it off the floor. Haven't tried the wall adhesive mount, but the hanging mount is SUPER easy to get the bin on and off of. I store the hanging mount inside my kitchen drawer, and then hang it off the front of the drawer and then slide the bucket onto it when I'm prepping. Makes it really easy to just toss scraps into.Lid has a nice snug fit into the bin, too. I usually leave the lid slightly ajar to let a little circulation through, but when I have to leave it on tight to keep a smell out for a day or two until the compost pickup comes, the lid works like a charm.I never thought I'd write a review about a plastic bucket, but this little bin ticks every single box I needed it to. And I can bang out my espresso basket on it!

Very nice
I have a bigger fancier one, but it is made of 5 pieces and a bear to clean because it doesn't come apart. And yes, I always use a bag. I grew to hate it. This one is smaller, but it is a smooth bucket that is easily washed and wiped clean. The rim to hold the bag upright is snug, very functional. The handle is a real plus, I like it. Not sure what I will do with the larger one, use it for the office or something where the trash doesn't get in the crannies and go bad. I still don't understand how that happens with it. The compostable bags don't hold up to acidic fruits too well I have found. Anyway, very happy with this one.

Must to have organic waste in freezer
We use this to store organic waste in the freezer area since the garbage truck comes only once a week and we don’t want to throw into garbage can which would smell for the whole week. Works excellent! Looks neat, it’s very easy to clean. No smell obviously since it’s in freezer. It holds a small bag like the grocery store ones.

Perfect and Convenient
I purchased this because recently in our area it became required to separate our compostable items from our trash. I opted for the smaller size because I did not want the food waste buildup to accumulate for too long and cause odors. It fits perfectly, on the cabinet face of our trash bin and the compost bags I purchased fit perfectly. I love how the lid has a notch to hold on the side when I am cooking and can easily scrape my scraps into it. The lid is also a nice feature to keep my cats and dog out of it. The color and appearance is nice and don’t feel like it’s a complete eyesore. Overall, I am satisfied with this purchase and recommend it.

Encourages Composting
There's a lot of composting bins for sale but this one met all our needs.Robust - this is built to last. We can knock dishes on it to loosen items. The hanger and bin do not appear that they'll break any time soon.Compact - We needed something to be big enough to hold compost but small enough to tuck away. This fits the bill as we can tuck it under our sink and not notice its there until its time to use.Convenient - Want to throw something away real quick, open the cabinet under the sink its there hanging. Have a alot to compost while you're prepping on the counter? Sure, take off of the hanger and place it right next to you.Cleanliness - This has a drain-able bin that separates the liquid that keeps it less messy and makes it easier to clean.

Awesome!!!
This thing is awesome!!! We got the blue 7L version. We pay for weekly compost service, but only like to open the provided compost bucket once a day (because it smells when you open it). So we wanted a container to collect the food waste throughout the day. We didn't want a container that sits on the counter, because I didn't want it taking up valuable counter space.I LOVE that this can hook onto the cabinet, and that it's easy to move it to a different part of the kitchen and hook it on a different cabinet, so that it can easily collect the scraps from wherever we happen to be working. Hooking it onto the cabinet also makes it so that my 4yo daughter can dump her own food scraps into it. I love that it can go in the dishwasher. I also love that it holds a ton of food waste. We actually can go a few days before we need to dump it into our compost bucket, and the lid really does a fantastic job of keeping any odors contained within the container. Also, it's pretty attractive in our newly remodeled kitchen!I would absolutely recommend this container!

Compact and useful
This mini trash can is compact but holds a good amount, hangs nicely without being in the way and keeps both dogs and fruit flies out of the kitchen compost bin. I dig it.
