GoFloats AirWedge Inflatable Beach Chair - Relax with The Comfort of Air (2-Pack)

I purchased these for a beach vacation and they worked great and are very sturdy. I don't like laying flat so the wedge was perfect and inexpensive. You sit on the flat part that has no air so it will not blow away. I covered it with a non sand collecting beach blanket and was very comfortable. Less air and you can lay on your stomach or flatter on your back. It took no time to blow up each time I went to the beach and I deflated and put in my bag when not in use. Beats carrying a chair back and forth.

My husband and I were flying to the beach and wanted something lightweight that we could pack with us to take on the plane. This is only 1 lb per seat and it worked like a charm. Took less than 1 minute each to blow up at the beach. They have the quick inflate valves so they blow up and delfate super quick. Also they fit right in my beach bag- no hauling clunky chairs needed. Just toss a beach towel over and you're good to go. The support was perfect for napping, reading and lounging. The sand doesnt brush off perfectly but they hosed down just fine when we got back to our condo. They also dont fold back up as perfect as they came but what does?

I love the concept. So far I've only tried them in the living room, but I think they'll be more comfortable than the common camp chairs. However, the air hole design is confounding. It's a small hole, which makes it somewhat hard to get air in. Additionally, there appears to be a little flap on the inside, which is supposed to keep air from leaving when you briefly take your mouth off of it to cap it shut. Not sure why it's necessary; air mattresses don't have this. It adds resistance when trying to add air, and makes it impossible to release the air when done. You have to push something into the hole to move the flap away, but that something can't be too big or it will block the hole as well. A toothpick might work fairly well. Finally, when trying to make a seal between your mouth and the air valve, the strap securing the cap totally gets in the way. This is because the strap attaches to the very top of the valve, instead of the base, where it would be out of the way. I think these could be improved immeasurably without adding any cost. Still, they're cheap and a comfortable way to sit in a park, if you don't mind sitting on the ground.Update: I just received an updated set of AirWedges, as promised (thank you very much!), and the air input/exhaust has been redesigned in a very satisfactory way. The opening is much much bigger, so getting the air in and out is easy. Exhausting the air took about 15 seconds (I wasn't trying for a record though). Blowing it up leisurely takes less than two minutes (using fairly healthy 63 year old lungs), and the mechanism prevents air from coming back out until you pull the valve assembly out of the hole in the body of AirWedge. Very good. I'll change my rating to 5 stars after I've had a chance to use it in the field for an extended test, in the sun.

After purchasing these last summer and using less than a dozen times, one of them developed a smaller hole just at the lower inside corner seam which was unfixable due to its location and was rendered unusable. Figuring it was a fluke (and bc these are quite comfortable) we bought a second set slightly discounted on Prime day.We marked the usable one from a year ago and took that out with one of the new ones today. Our 2nd "usable" wedge from last year deflated faster than its mate did last month.These are not made to last. It's a frustrating to have the two original each last a only year with less than a dozen uses and break down within 2 weeks of each other. They could have reinforced the seams on these, it's a shame and waste of materials.Would really like an answer from the manufacturer.

A lot smaller than it seems. Good for a small child/ Toddler size at most

I love these inflatable beach loungers... but I use them in the bathtub! The back of my bathtub is straight up, so I cannot recline. I place one inside my bathtub and the slanted back allows me to recline so I can enjoy soaking. It floats, but my body weight on the long piece of material keeps it submerged. It's an easy solution to a uncomfortable bathtub problem.

There were only two reviews (both 5 stars) for these when I got them, so I took a chance. Well I agree with those two 5-star reviews. These things are great! I was looking for low back chairs for an outdoor concert, and with those things going for $65 and up each (wtf?) I started looking for alternatives. I found these ($14.99 for 2, at the time of writing) and took them to the concert. We blew up the pillow part, which, if memory serves is baffled, which is nice, sat on the flat part and voila! Instant chair/recliner!This simple little idea is genius. Sitting on the flat part keeps everything in place. I used mine in a variety of sitting (nice back support) and lounging (gently reclined, to pretty much laying down), and was comfortable in all the different positions. I can see how these would be great at the beach, too (with a towel thrown over them). My friend who used the second one, couldn't stop talking about how great it was, and I'm pretty sure she already bought a set.If you don't want to pay stupid prices for cheap folding beach chairs, get these little guys. At $14.99 for TWO, it's so much better than $65 and up for ONE. I really like that you can be comfortable sitting OR laying down. You can't lay down on a little folding chair, so this pillow/mat thing has those things beat in both price and function.
