WS8211 DC 5V strand
Good product for a good price....This is for the strand operated with 5 vdSetup: a 5vd/3 amp wallwort to power the strip , an UNO and both the Neopixel & fastled libraries in several sketchesThey functioned without any problems .Fastled -#define LED_TYPE WS2812B or as WS2811( both worked with this strip)#define COLOR_ORDER GRB - correct for this strip#define NUM_LEDS 50Neopixel- They would not work when set to 400 KHz or RGB .// Parameter 1 = number of pixels in strip// Parameter 2 = pin number (most are valid)// Parameter 3 = pixel type flags, add together as needed:// NEO_KHZ800 800 KHz bitstream (most NeoPixel products w/WS2812 LEDs)// NEO_KHZ400 400 KHz (classic 'v1' (not v2) FLORA pixels, WS2811 drivers)// NEO_GRB Pixels are wired for GRB bitstream (most NeoPixel products)// NEO_RGB Pixels are wired for RGB bitstream (v1 FLORA pixels, not v2)Adafruit_NeoPixel strip = Adafruit_NeoPixel(50, PIN, NEO_GRB + NEO_KHZ800); - correct settings for this stepAttached to the Ws8211 strip (50 pixel) is a WS2812B Strip (30 pixel)

Super awesome year round permanent holiday lights! Bright!
I bought 2,000 of these lights a year ago and installed them permanently on my home under the eves. I mostly followed a video guide I found online from a DrZzs on youtube. I recommend the 12V version of these instead of the 5v. These are very bright lights. In the 2,000 lights I received, I only had one pixel that stayed red no matter what color it is supposed to be. It is easy to splice in a new pixel, just make sure you maintain the proper direction. IMPORTANT INFORMATION ***** These only work in one direction!!! ***** what that means is if you cut and splice sections or pixels, make sure they are all fed from the same end of the strand (male vs. female). If you accidentally get one backwards it will not work. Big bummer after you spend 2 days putting them up on your house! I found that if I plugged in more than 7 strands (70') they started acting funny. The voltage dropped from 13.5V to 11.5V after 70'. Instead of injecting power every 70' or so by running feeders from the power supply, I just bought (3) power supplies and fed them from both ends and the middle. The 12V DC power supplies I bought on Amazon were $18 ... cheaper than the wire I could buy for feeders. I also used the Magic LED SP105E controller, which connects to your phone via Bluetooth and allows you to change the lights to one of 200+ shows. Absolutely highly recommend these lights as you can use them for all holidays, parties, or whenever!

Great
I tried a different brand and had nothing but issues. I have over 3k of these pixels and all work great. The only negative is that the connectors are not waterproof and will corrode if not kept dry. Still a great product and reliable.

Great pixels at a great price
The media could not be loaded. Great quality for the price. Well made pixels. I’ve had another brand at a similar price that had lower quality on the casing and the pixels were often not pointing straight. Rextin brand are made as though there is care put into the making of them. I am very happy.I use them for my holiday (Halloween and Christmas) Light shows. So, in this case, a matrix display (signage) and the outlines to the windows at my house. Also, I drilled some holes in 2 x 4 to light up a cross I made to hang on my chimney. The lights in the matrix and window outlines have been actively working nightly for October and working great. The lights in the cross will be tested soon and will mostly be used for the Christmas light show. The included video is the lights operating during a programmed sequence. They are doing what they are supposed to do.

Large, powerful, addressable LEDs requiring 3 wires
Pros: Large, powerful, addressable LEDs requiring 3 wiresCons: Bulky; Not even a sheet of paper to indicate which wire is data vs ground. You must find documentation on your own, wire it to your micro-controller of choice, and double-check everything before powering on.These are great LEDs to work with. Just be aware you "shouldn't" try to run power directly off an Arduino. Note some people have managed to power a few pixels at once off an Arduino PWR pin, but this is not a good idea. You can easily draw more power than your Arduino can support, risking burning out the Arduino or at least unreliable "flashing" of the LEDs (this also risks your computer USB port, although a power cycle of your computer should restore any lost USB ports).Instead, get yourself a 5V 4A power supply. While plugged off, wire that power source to the LEDs, ground to the LEDs -and- to Arduino ground. You don't need to connect power to the Arduino if you're powering it via USB. (Check with your Arduino model docs if you want to use external power -- some will automatically select power source but some require a switch. If you know what you're doing, you can supply Arduino power via VIN port). To test this I ran Adafruit's demo "strand_test" which cycles through all the colors. I also ran Sparkfun's "Stranger Things" code, which converts serial input text strings into single bulbs on the strand (see [...] ). Be sure to edit either program to indicate which DATA PIN you're using (I used pin D6), and edit the number of LEDs (I bumped these to 50, although with the Stranger things code, you should cut the LED strand to 26 LEDs so as to match the English character set length). These are pretty bulky. The LEDs are 12mm, and the base is a bid wider in order to hold the WS2811 circuit board. They use a large-package chip, probably for cost reasons (these are about half the price I've seen other WS2812 strands sell for).

A lot of work, but worth it.
The media could not be loaded. Great lights. They are very bright and easy to install. I deducted one star only because extra male and female ends would make "jumper" wires easier to make. The video shows 670 lights.

Well made and easy to work with
I have bought roughly 2000 of this Led. So far, no issue. The one I bought are 5v. I am using them with ESP32 for Christmas decoration. Forgot to mention that they are waterproof as well.
