Dansko Women's Betty Pump

I really like this shoe and am buying many Dansko shoes because my feet have been hurting lately. This shoe and another one that I got had the heal as pictured. I have found that this shoe and another one that I bought from Dansko with this heal has caused me to fall twice. I NEVER fall. So I was disturbed. One time in court the other time on the side walk. I did not hurt myself, but I am buying better shoes because I am observing that a fall or injury can create problems and I am buying better shoes so as to protect myself. This shoe has a heel that likely caused a fall for me and the other shoe did the same thing. I'm going to keep the shoe and see if there is someway to change my walking gait that will avoid the slip ups. I won't buy another Dansko show with this type of heel. But it is very very cute.

I am a flight attendant and have been picky about shoes for 15 years. I have been a Dansko fan for about 10 of those years. To me they really can't be beat. I have switched between Born's which I love and you can find at a good price and Danskos which you invest in and they are worth it!. This is a beautiful shoe and is very dressy but it will squish your toes after wearing them about an hour and I don't have wide feet at all just average size feet. If you have narrow feet Naot's are great as well just FYI. We know our shoes after being on our feet walking for 14 plus hours all day! My airline doesn't allow a flat service shoe it can be min 1" but back to the shoe at hand....it is beautiful and if you have narrow feet it will be fine but if not and you plan on being on your feet for any time at all in this shoe, I would opt against it and go for something else. Just my humble opinion. ;)

I have been looking for a pair of shoes that are comfortable and that I can wear to the office. These shoes fit the bill with the look; I just wish the fit was better. In a nutshell - the toe box is not wide enough and my toes get pinched (more on the right foot than left foot). The heel slippage was so bad that I had to put heel grips in the back of the shoes to keep from kicking them off when I walked. Going up another size in hope the toe box will be bigger would likely compound the heel issue. I have a wide foot, so the heel being to big was surprising. I have worn Dansko clogs in the past and was expecting the shoes would be just as comfortable. I thought these shoes would become more comfortable as I broke them in, yet nay. Instead I choose to wear these on days when I am certain I will not need to do a lot of walking during my work day.

I have been waiting for this shoe to go on sale for a long time - but it never did so when I got amazon gift cards for Christmas I put them toward this shoe and am glad I did. This a good quality shoe (worth the $$$$) and VERY comfortable. Because of bad knees I am not allowed to wear anything higher than a 2-inch heel. It is difficult to find low heeled shoes that don't look frumpy. That is why this shoe attracted me. It is very low and very stylish and I'll repeat - very well made. It does run a little big though. I have ordered this EU size before without any problem but with this shoe, I have a little slip in the heel. Luckily the strap holds my foot down so this is not really a problem. If you are willing to spend the money for a good-quality shoe, then I would recommend this pair.

I ordered these shoes with the intention of wearing them for a job where I will be standing for 8-10 hours, so comfort is super high on my list. This is my first experience with Danskos, so I was surprised at how non-extraordinary the comfort level felt. They feel a little more cushy than your average heel, but definitely not $136.50 worth of comfort. The sole of the shoe is also kind of funky— when walking lightly across my wood floors, I had trouble with my ankles rolling out, which is incredibly unsafe. I usually wear a 9.5 in heels and a 10 in flats, and these were a little on the big side. Definitely will be sending these babies back.

The photo on-line hints that it has "red." In fact, if you look at other shoe websites, and you request only red Danskos, cordovan appears in the line up. It's really a brown shoe. I wish Dansko would make this shoe or some similar heel shoe in RED.

I'm headed to DC for a 6 month assignment, and I needed to step up my wardrobe. I ordered my normal clog size-39 and it was too big, lot of heel slip. I tried them on a a shoe store and figured out I needed a 37. So, the 37 works.

after 16 years of Nursing I was promoted to Administration. I was used to scrubs and work clogs. This show is very nice/professional looking and easy to walk in.It is a dark brown with a red hint.
