Spanish "Dubloons"
Bought these as give away trinkets at PA Renn-Faire. I was pleasantly surprised by the size, detail, and number in the package, and for a very reasonable price. The one that weren't given away at Renn-Faire will be used as alternatives at Halloween for kids with allergies, and some will be mixed in with the Halloween candy.I'm very pleased with them.

Class treats
my teacher friends, and I were using these to pass out to the students in our classroom. When students are caught doing something good, they get a coin. And then they trade them in at the end of the week or month for prizes. They work well for encouraging kids to make good choice choices.

Perfect payment for budding questers
I took these to a comic convention and gave them out as rewards to people who did kind things for others. They were a big hit and I had a lot of fun. They are lightweight, so you can carry a lot in your pocket. Fun buy.Update: Additionally, I took them to a Ren Faire and gave them out to all the pirates I could find. "Pirates get doubloons!" Everyone was surprised and smiled over their fun new treasure.

Needed for a pot of gold
We had a rainbow, a leprechaun baby, and needed a pot of gold for the end of the rainbow. It worked great, and the kids enjoyed playing with it after we made our video.
