I am very glad I found this new Gain Odor blocker scent. I have been a long time Gain original scent detergent user but for me, with a newly acquired HE washer, this was the solution I needed. At first I feared I would miss my Original scent Gain. No worries. This is even better.Pros: This detergent does have a fairly strong scent upon opening container but it is not objectionable and is as attractive a blend as any scent spray. It smells really clean. I did talk with the manufacturer about amount to use (measure with the cup!) and found that the regular Gain detergent that is picked out and sold to me by the closest big box store for curb pickup is totally unsuited to HE washers. Yes, I do always specify HE detergent. My washer was leaving a bit of sticky, stale film on my laundry. Frustrating beyond belief. I now know that is from too much suds action. This HE Gain not only smells great but cleans beautifully. Laundry smells fresh and retains that scent for a long time. Even packed away, the laundry scent shows longevity. I enjoy opening my closet and noticing a fresh scent. It is not overpowering and causes no skin irritation nor itching for me or my husband.The jug is a bit heavy but it has a large capacity and is, I believe, made to be more sustainable in the plastic quality.Cons: Honestly, despite the handy jug spout and the push button valve above the container for a no mess pour when placed on its side, I always find it a bit difficult to pour the precise amount into the cup. I am possibly shorting my measurements just a bit to prevent an overflow or waste. I am sure that is just me.Summary: A quality detergent from a solid company in a delightful scent. Perfect for HE washers. It really cleans.

This is my normal go to brand, I normally go to kroger but I figured why not try amazon. They sent it in a nice box with tape to make sure the lid wouldnt come off and there were no spills... Super easy and worth it!Obviously gain is an amazing quality, works amazing, smells the best, and makes everything super soft. It works to get tough stains out of my kids clothes and they are messy.

Great value and quality

I LOVE GAIN!With having two small purebred miniature schnauzers (they are stinky , but great dogs), Gain has become my favorite laundry soap and dryer sheets! It gets out orders from their bedding and our clothes like no other detergent!Furthermore, I mailed a 60x80 hand crocheted velvet blanket to a family member, and because it came from humid Tennessee to Dry California, it got a musty smell during transport. I advised my family member to wash it on gentle with Gain. She told me it came out fabulous, no smell, no fading of the color and was very gentle on the velvet chenille yarn.Gain is my go to laundry detergent now for super clean odor free laundry! 🥰
