I've had H shifters before... from Act-Labs to the G25/27... heck, all the Logi ones... This Htostar is by far this best, SOLID H shifter I've ever felt. Everybody always talks about theirs "popping outta gear". When you shift this shifter, it's a solid shift and ain't "popping" no where! Very precise movement!!! And the 50mm ball is perfect... Definitely does not feel like a toy like the rest of them.I got the 6+1... didn't need the 7th gear... Really don't need the 6th gear in NASCAR iRacing, but that's easily past to get to reverse... Don't even notice it's there.Keep up the great work, Htostar !!! Pretty sure I'll be sending a few customers your way!!!

Does the job, is a gated shifter, but you get what you’re paying for. The product works as expected, all gears work, shift changes are fast but the build quality leaves something to be desired. There is absolutely no dampening for gear changes, it’s a harsh jolt of the shifter into a new gear that makes an ABSOLUTE RACKET. Metal on metal and the sound of switches being activated. The changing of gears itself is somewhat janky, the neutral gear is reached through bearings, it doesn’t feel like a gear change from 2nd to 3rd for example but a change from 2nd to neutral and neutral to 3rd. Also the positioning of the reverse gear is really stupid. The shifter always really wants to go into neutral, when you unengage the gear the shifter wants to go neutral center. To shift from 5th to 6th you shift past the open reverse gate. Because the shifter always wants neutral, you find yourself wanting to use the rightmost edge of the gate in 5th when shifting to 6th. This is an issue because if you use the rightmost edge of the gate, on a gear change from 5th to 6th you will enter reverse.

Works amazing! Had to bend one of my switched so it would engage earlier. But i use this all the time w assetto

good budget shifter, with a possible upgrade path to make it slightly better. Would recommend before dropping $150 plus on a any other decent option.
