My lips are naturally very pale and I wanted a lip stain that wasn't very intense and would wear off after a while. This is the perfect stain!It lasts maybe 10 hrs, and doesn't dry out my lips. The texture is very smooth and feels like good quality.I personally like to put some on my pinky finger and rub it onto my lips (It's a little too intense to put the wand directly onto my lips.)The color is lovely, no smell, and would also function as a cheek stain.

This is a great product overall! The lip stain dries down very quickly, which is super convenient when you’re in a rush or don’t want to worry about smudging. I have severe allergies to a lot of cosmetics, but somehow this cheaper brand does not break my lips out into hives! In fact I have no negative reactions! My lips don’t get as dry as they do with most products, in fact they hardly dry out at all. No unpleasant smell. Gorgeous color options. Stain lasts for a long time during the day and will stay on, no matter what you’re doing. It’s not a miracle, it wears off maybe halfway or if you’re using your lips a lot but overall, especially for the price you can’t beat it. Only downside is I find myself having to buy more frequently. It seems to run out or dry out fairly quickly. It’s cheap enough that I’m okay with it, but it’s pretty annoying to keep restocking. I’m obsessed with the color and the staying power however, and the smooth application process, so I’ll keep buying it

I love the way this goes on, feels lighter than a gloss and not sticky at all, but a bit heavier than a oil, in the best way. Also the stain is great! I left the gloss on for two minutes and when I wiped it off it was like I was only wiping off the shine because it was so pigmented! But as other reviewers have said, the colors are way off. I got the Power Mauves color and it's more orangey in color than mauve. I have seen a bunch of other people say the colors are off and I should have listened. Now I have to try and figure out what other color to get since the names don't match the color at all. I'm glad it wasn't a lot of money, otherwise I would be pretty upset at the weird coloring.

Love ELF products and this is a new favorite. Not drying. Highly pigmented.with the perfect amount of sheen. Not too mate and not glossy.

I got the Cinnamon Dreamz shade. Pros: The color is as expected, it doesn’t transfer, feels hydrating, is not sticky. Con: It just disappears for no reason. I put it on just to test the color, and within hours the color was completely gone. I drank some coffee but that is it. I’ve never experienced so little color stay power from a “lip stain”. I honestly wouldn’t even consider this a stain at this point, more of a tinted gloss than anything.

I was not prepared for how good this lip stain is, or that the colors would be so flattering! I've been on a neverending quest to find the perfect nude stain that actually looks natural, and I FINALLY found it with the shade "pinkies up"! I fell asleep with the stain on and it was still there the next morning! It doesn't dry out my lips, and it doesn't budge when I wear a gloss over it like all the other stains do.It's a luxury formula!Now I gotta buy it in bulk for when they eventually discontinue it.

Stain is decent, but color is off. This is “Power Mauve” & to me it appears to be bright with orange/red undertones., not mauve which has more purplish undertones.Goes on smooth & the stain ability is there. Not intense like it’s hard to get off. Light stain, but noticeable.For reference I have cool/red undertones.“Mauve” is my go to but this color doesn’t appear to be mauvish on my skin.1st pic is the stain applied fresh and 2nd pic is after 5 minutes on & wiped off to see stain results. Same sitch with my hand. I love how small & compact
