Goldn Gold Paydirt Eureka Panning Pay Dirt Bag – Gold Prospecting Concentrate

Bought this as a novelty item to get into panning as I am in a state bearing very little gold and strict waterway laws to boot, so going out and panning where I'm at is kind of pointless. As far as a practice/novelty item it is great! There is indeed gold as well as tiny quartz crystals and a little bit of black sand adds a respectable challenge. my return was just over .1g and still have some superfines I have to retrieve from my tailings and sniffer bottle. Also found 3 bright silvery pieces not sure what they could be, hopefully platinum! (Lower right in pic appear dark) Not a great ROI but you dont invest in paydirt, you invest in straight bullion or placer. This is for the fun and should be treated as such going in, or you'll just be disappointed when you dont see much gold and that is paydirt in a whole. There are also lots of superfine particles that will float or suspend in the water, so keep you're eyes peeled before you just dump or ditch your tailings and water. I'd say for beginners with a keen eye, patience, and a pretty basic understanding of panning due to the amount of superfines compared to pieces easily seen and able to be picked out with tweezers. People with poor eyesight or (in my case) an impatient nephew might want to get the bigger bag with more "pickers" I'd say. Overall had a blast panning and do recommend for anyone getting into panning.

Well I just opened 5 1/2 lb. little bags.I have had decent results two months ago with a first purchase.However tonight with very careful inspection, run thru sluice 3 times and with ea. Bag I expected a little. But only one bag had a picker and two bags had a tiny tiny amt of flour.This experience is going to shut down my endeavor of buying gold paydirt. Tonight, my emotions will interfere with my choice of words.It was not an insignificant amount of money spent.I have now opened ten vendors paydirt.Several were $100+ and six were smaller bags, all different.Your claims and reviews suggest a good experience.Sadly that wasn’t even close.I consider myself to be good on finding gold in the use of panning gold.What happened?I received 5 bags, expecting one to hold 3x normal as claimed in your advertising.I spent two hours and ran it thru my sluice three time. One tablespoon at a time.I can’t even take a picture because there’s so little to see in my sniffer bottle.Quite frankly, I wondered if you have an unhappy employee whose creativity snags some gold destined for customers.Your reviews are solid. I have purchased over 26 bags from 8 vendors.Two of them had nothing.I made sure I complimented those products who at least allowed a little yellow gold bits.But 5 bags of dirt and only one who could be tiny flakes and one picker found with tweezers, and then sent thru my 4 foot sluice 3 times to zilch.

This bag of paydirt that I bought is not that bad. I found some gold in the paydirt but I wish there was more and a bigger piece in it. The color of the gold looks like real gold. But pls be warned you should only buy this if u r just looking to have some fun or u r interested in finding gold. It is not to help you make more money.

Not sure why others have rated this company so low. It comes down to panning techniques. They don't have a min. amount, but you do get some Au. This is great for both adults and kids. Your not going to get your money back out of it. So don't expect anything more than 0.10g. Its a price point experience where having fun finding Gold at any age is priceless. My son loved the gift and he was excited how easy he found gold even at age 5 with minimal help. Tip use jetdry or Dish detergent to catch it all.

This was a fun bag to go through and a good way to practice panning. Difficulty was easy to moderate, and material was clean and manageable, barely any magnetics in mine. I wasn’t expecting a big return, but after running everything twice I only found five small flakes (1 of which actually was caught by kitchen strainer while classifying). I’ll run the tailings through a sluice soon and will update this review if anything else turns up. Still a good time, just hoped for a bit more color.

If you pan correctly you will find small slivers of gold. Great dirt if you want to practice panning. I bought 2 and found about 10.00 worth of gold. ROI is not there but it will help train your eye for gold panning in the real world. For me I am paying for practice.
