OK so I'll update my review if needed, but this will be the initial feeling when receiving the headset. Bare in mind if you do get a fault you can simply replace them. I needed to do with a keyboard and I got a full refund after using for around 12 months.So here we go initial review and will be updated if needs be. The barracuda headset (Got it in pink) only, because it cost me 70 euro instead of 160 euro (stated used good condition) came brand new.1. The build will get a 8. So I'll say it is plastic, but quality plastic. The head rest is leather and feels really good. The ear cushions feel really really good!! It all around feels really good wearing this headset. I mean I'd prefer black or white or whatever colours they call it, but can't complain for the price.2. Sound quality. So I've use cloud 2 as well as the cloud core alpha wireless. I have a pair of corsair viruouso as well as had a set of Arctic pro 1 I think they called back in 2018 ( those broke quite quickly ). So I have a few different makes. I'd say the sound is on par with any of these headsets, but awesome part is these are wireless and gaming is brilliant with them. I mean I am not audio phobe. Just a casual gamer or well someone that usually games 40 hours a week I'd say. Poe, cs2, dota, hogwarts legacy, red dead redemption 2 etc. So basically playing all the normal games. Please don't judge valorant and League players. Those games are also brilliant and just as a stand point so you can know I love gaming. Brilliant audio for me.3. The dreaded mic. I use discord with mates. So I told them I was getting a new headset. I had the cloud core alpha (wireless) latest headset. So when I went on to discord I was asking my friend how my mic was. He said I sounded better. Now if you look up the mic I had, was probably rated by all sorts of people as like an 8 or higher. So saying the mic is shocking is not true at all. I haven't done anything to it. I didn't change settings. I literally plugged this headset in and guess discord really makes the mic cut out background noise etc. So you don't need the app etc to change anything in discord. Discord settings work perfectly. I'd give the mic a 8. This is when others say it's shocking. Not true. I listened to myself and sounded good (obviously we are considering the fact there is no boom mic) I'd say it is a good quality mic!!4. Battery life seems to be brilliant too. The functions are very easy to use and the fact all the buttons are on the left hand side ( I am a right hand mouse guy ) it helps a ton!! The virtuoso for example, has volume button etc on the right hand side and I cannot tell you how annoying this is... I appreciate the fact they took this into consideration.5. The distance between my pc and headset when walking away will be a 6. I don't think it's the best nor the worst. It is not a detriment at all, but I feel the cloud alpha are better for distance where I can talk and hear until it cuts off. Although once again this won't be a detriment it is just how I'd compare other experiences.6. The weight. For me this is a perfect weighted headset. I can feel it on my head, but not to the detriment of how long I can wear it for. It is comfortable. It feels good and this headset looks very very nice!!Overall would I recommend? This is the question. On a tight budget? I'd recommend the barracuda x, because they cheaper. I have not used them, but I could say they most likely quality. If you want a better experience overall though I would recommend this headset. If you game and want to use the mic in discord. No one will complain or know any different don't let reviews put you off, this headset is really good. I have had issues with razer products, but at the price I got these it is worth the risk that if they do break I can send them back anyways.More pros are the fact you can use your phone. Tv. Ps5. Nintendo (I have and works a dream on it too), gym etc. This headset can do it all.Honestly overall I am impressed. Reviews found say this is a 7.8, but I feel this isn't true. For me I'd recommend this headset overall for all the features you get. Just perhaps try find a deal on them.If anyone asks questions I'll try to get back to them as well. I do hope this review will help you. Please be mindful this review can be used for noth barracuda x and the one above as the lower version will still be brilliant as the build quality us almost the same as well alas the pro. Just differences are barracuda x - boom mic sounds better than the higher headsets, but with barracuda and the pro the sound quality gets better and better and more features on the pro like anc. First impressions:Comes in good, organized packaging. Everything comes in separated packaging as you'd expect.The cables are a good length, and it has a high distance for receiving audio. The 2.4ghz is great quality. Unless you live in a absolutely huge mansion I'd expect you'd easily receive a full signal anywhere.As for the headset itself, onto the pros:It's beautiful. (The design, specifically the white one) The Razer Barracuda X [2022] imo at least. It doesn't look overly like it should only be for gaming. Though I'd be weary of wearing it out in case it gets broken due to the plastic not being particularly thick.The audio is very good. I had hoped it would match up to the 50mm driver of the Razer Blackshark V2 X but it does. Even better in fact in some ways. It's more balanced and the bass is less heavy.It's light, and the weight of it doesn't get heavy after wearing it a long time. The buttons are in convenient locations. The ear cups are comfortable and the memory foam is nice though will need replacements as they aren't wipe clean kind. However your ears shouldn't get hot like the leather kind you would wipe clean.It's wireless and Bluetooth. If you have it paired with both, you can switch quickly by pressing the swap between Bluetooth and 2.4ghz connection three times.The neutral points:The volume scroll wheel. It's hard to know precisely if it's 50 or 60% as there's no clicking as it changes.Cons: If I'm being picky, I'd say the ear section is a 'tad' small. If they were 5-10% larger (for the ears diagonally or ovally, you get what I mean) they'd be the perfect budget headset imo. I'd say the Blackshark headset is more comfortable, but only a little. Both I can wear 'all day' (10+ hours) without discomfort.Edit: After having owned a little while I've noticed on occasion (maybe twice a week for a couple seconds) audio bugs out then works fine again. Not a big issue at all though. Don't wear it lying down in bed unless you want to risk it breaking. The plastics strong but can be broken from too much stretching/weight put on it. The Razer Blackshark would be more suitable in that scenario.ALSO, the plastic isn't as strong as you'd hope, as it can crack a bit if you aren't careful enough.

It's very pretty, and sounds wonderful, especially with surround sound, but oh my god, these headphones are cursed. First problem: Bluetooth audio sounded horrible when I joined any sort of voice chat, I was scratching my eyes out trying to fix this until I realised it was automatically turning on hands-free mode because it automatically thought I was in a phone call I guess? Fixing that arose my second problem: some software would cause other software to become muted, so say I wanted to watch some YouTube while in queue - gotta fix this random ass problem first. Third problem: windows audio mixer completely stopped working - I still haven't fixed this because i have no idea how but if there wasn't a volume wheel thing on the headset id be crying by now. Fourth problem - audio randomly started only working in one ear one time ??? turned it off and on again to fix, but I'm praying that's a one-time thing. Now here's when i think I've been through it all, (in the span of just one day I'll add), if you do not have constant audio playing and decide to go ONE SECOND without playing something, the headset automatically powers off and you will need to power it back on. Not a problem when gaming, because there will always be at least some ambient noise, but general use makes this a pain in the arse, bare in mind my headset is not low on battery and i have changed the standby period to never and still get this issue.UPDATE: The headset officially only works in one ear. Somewhat worked for 2 and a half months and is now officially faulty.

This is the worst headset / it's uncomfortable to wear my ears are hurt while wearing it for 15 minutes / it's so complicated to set up on pc / the sound is crispy just like cheap headphones I tried to change it with the software but it's still ugly / PLEASE do not waste your money
