Kira Home Harlow 9" Modern Industrial Farmhouse/Schoolhouse/Rustic Pendant Light with Clear Glass Shade, Adjustable Hanging Height, Warm Brass Finish

This light fixture was fairly easy to install. A couple of tips: be prepared if you plan to install this yourself and if you plan to cut the wires down to fit your intended height. Make sure to buy or have available an electrical cutting/stripping tool. Also, if you are working alone, I found it was easiest to wrap the ground wire up onto the install plate so that the fixture hung down from the plate by the ground wire that is attached into the fixture. This way, I was able to do all the electrical connections without having to try to hold the fixture up at the same time. I simply left the ground wire wrapped around the plate and connected that to the grounding screw and the ground in the ceiling box. The photos show mine with one of the 12" downrods only. Please note as I found out the hard way...the 12" downrods have a removable threaded piece so yes, you can attach it to the bulb socket area, just remove the threaded piece from the tube and you will be good to go. I almost ended up using the shortest downrod piece because I thought that was my only choice, but the height was not what I wanted and luckily I looked over the larger downrods and figured out that the threaded end was removable. I think the installation instructions could have been better, but for the price and the fact that I knew how to change a light fixture already, it wasn't too bad. I am a forty something woman with no electrical training or knowledge and from start to finish, this took about two hours to complete. The bulb is an LED edison style globe bulb with a spiral filament. I love the look and this was exactly what I was after for the style and lighting brightness I was looking for. It is perfect!

The media could not be loaded. This light is gorgeous! It’s exactly what I was looking for for over the sink in my kitchen. I wanted a classic style that wasn’t completely plain looking. The brass coloring and the shapely glass globe are perfect. I also liked it since it doesn’t stand out like a sore thumb…no colors or textures so you can see clearly out the window without any obstructions. Also it doesn’t throw any weird shadows. Truly a classic, and elegant style.My husband and I put it up in about 10 minutes together. Probably would have been 5 minutes if we didn’t need to look for washers for the supporting screws already in the ceiling…the ones we had were a smidge long for the fixture, not any fault of the company making this product!The product comes with necessary wiring needed, including a ground wire. You just assemble the pieces together for your desired length for the pole, screw on the glass globe and you’re set!The glass was flawless. Entire item was packaged well.Now I just have to find the right lightbulb for it, like an Edison bulb, but it does look okay with a plain white bulb as well (as shown in my pictures).

The pretty Kira Home Harlow pendant caught my eye as a compliment to my ceiling fan lights and because it is on a down rod instead of a cord. The catch: I needed it to hang from a 14-foot vaulted ceiling. Problem solved by a friendly and quickly responding representative. She located extra lengths of matching down rod, priced them fairly, and tracked them from the warehouse to the shipping point to let me know the progress.A licensed electrician installed the fixtures as part of new construction. He seemed to get them up in no time. They work perfectly on a dimmer switch.The shades are easy to remove for cleaning. The socket cover/shade clamps are a nice weight and glide smoothly over the socket.Bonus: replacement shades are available on the Kira Home website.

I love the shape and style of these pendants. It comes with the down rods so you are limited to the drop length based off mixing those. It worked out for me. They also only hinge one way at the ceiling attachment so when installing keep this in mind. The glass isn't perfect but no one notices- you have to look real hard. For the money, these are honestly great. Easy to install. Look great. Good size glass also - not too big or small. I would buy them again for sure.

I love the simplicity. In preparing for my upcoming kitchen remodel I was looking for a clean, simple and classic style. I bought three pendents to go over my island. My contractor remarked how much he also liked the style and quality. Can't wait to get to the installation phase!

I'm very much happy with this purchase. I have bought multiple pendant lights and returned it as it was either very difficult to install with confusing instructions or doesn't look good when you install it (no way close to the pictures). Also they dont provide mounting screws.1) This light was very easy to install with all the hardwares. took only 10 mins per light to adjust length and very easy instructions.2) Looks awesome on my kitchen island. got complements from my friends.

Easy to install and with 40W bulb illuminated great

It's a little small. Really more of a pendant light.
