Decent value American-style fridge freezer with huge capacity
My review is a 6-moth review of the fridge freezer which I've split into the following areas:Build quality, Storage capacity, Size & Weight, Value for money, Looks, Longevity, Final thoughts.Build quality: Decent build quality as you'd expect from Bosch. The galvanised steel finish looks really nice, and the compartments for both fridge and freezer are solid. Only disappointing build choice was the choice to not have a central bar which both size of the fridge compartment fix to - it's a bit annoying and feels a poor design choice to not have a central / middle column which the two door compartments can fix to, or even a better upper and lower door fixing. Instead, the is a magnetic connection on the right side fridge door which the left side door has to connect to when shut. This is also annoying because the bottom fridge compartment cannot open without opening the right side door. Other than that, a decent build quality.Storage capacity: This fridge has a huge storage capacity - I don't think we've ever run out of space to store our weekly shop. There are two huge fruit/veg comparments, two or three large door trays and three or four height adjustable internal shelves. There are 6 large freezer compartments. So, we've never been shy of fridge capacity as a large family.Size & Looks: One downside with all the capacity I guess is the size of the thing - it is one unit of a fridge/freezer. We had to take off the front doors of the fridge and freezer (fairly easily done tbh) to bring the thing into the house and then re-assemble. It also took 3 of us grown men to bring the unit into the house. It also weighs a ton - not literally, but it is a a very heavy device, around 120Kg.Value for money & Longevity: I did buy the fridge at £1299, knowing that only a few months earlier, the price of the fridge was £1199, so a bit of a kick in the teeth buying it £100 more expensive than I would've liked. However, I'm hoping that the Bosch name and brand come to my rescue and provide me with the longevity and give me a long-life fridge freezer. My previous model was an LG which broke down after 7 years of use - I'm hoping this will last me at least 10! I can't really comment on Longevity other than that, as I have only had the fridge for around 6 months.Final thoughts: It would have been nice if instead of 4 doors, there were two doors and that the fridge was all on one side behind door 1 and that the freezer was all on the other side behind door 2. Instead, to get to the fridge properly, we generally have to open both top fridge doors which is annoying, especially with the magnetic connecting bit in between the two fridge doors. It would have also been nice if lighter materials had been used as the unit is extremely heavy and took 3 gown men to lift into the house, even after removing the fridge and freezer doors. Finally, it would have been a treat if we didn't have to take off the fridge and freezer doors to bring the thing into the house - again, a better designed fridge would have been easier to bring into the house. Aside of those gripes, it's a decent fridge once in the house - let's hope it lasts and doesn't break down!

Awful courier
Courier is shockingly awful! Don’t speak a word of English. Timing is unreliable. Customer service is the worst I’ve ever experienced - they really don’t care!Good fridge though. But buy from elsewhere.

Very happy with my new fridge freezer.
The best bit about this item is the French door style which gives a huge amount of fridge space compared to my old American style fridge freezer which has the fridge and freezer vertically side by side. The freezer space is also very satisfactory, and the pull out drawers hold a lot.The only downside is that to access the left hand vegetable drawer in the fridge, you have to open both fridge doors. Otherwise, I’m delighted with it, and the price was very competitive compared to other makes of the same style. I can recommend it.
