I had multiple cords showing and not conveniently placed. Hated it. With this extension, I was able to connect the cords directly behind the TV, using double-stick tape to the wall, and hiding all but the one cord connecting to the outlet. It looks so much neater and doesn't impede using the other outlet connection for the vacuum, when needed. Love it! I really appreciate that it looks so much neater.

Nice and compact for travel. Lightweight for an item of its type. Unusually designed in that the electrical receptacles are spaced apart from each other so that you can plug in two of those large, square charging blocks next to each other and one won't obstruct the other receptacle. The plug also has a low profile design.There is one Type-C and two USB receptacles and they are next to each other in "columnar" fashion , thus if you have a USB plug with a wide design it is less likely to get in the way of the other USB receptacle.Of course it would be better if it also had a Micro-USB receptacle but you can also use an adapter.I initially recommend it. However I only recently received it and have not used it on a longer term basis. I don't know about the durability.I will update according to my findings.

I have two external drives on my desk: a USB connected Blue-Ray and a hard drive in an enclosure. Both have chunky AC adapter plugs with somewhat flimsy cords running to the devices. I've had to replace one of the adapters before when the flimsy cord was damaged under my desk by either my dog or the vacuum, so I finally got smart and decided to run power up to the desktop to get the plugs and wires out of harm's way.That's a lot of words to say that this mini power strip is exactly what I needed. I was concerned that the plugs might not fit, but there was plenty of room. I've only used one of the available USB ports on the side to charge my phone, it provides a charge just fine. The rubber feet should keep it from getting pushed off the desk. The 5 foot power cord is thick and durable.It's just about perfect for my needs! The only possible improvement might be if they had at least one of the USB connections located on the opposite side, but that's really a trivial thing.

This is exactly what I needed. It was for a basement room so the outlets are mid wall due to the foundation. One sits right behind my laptop at my desk so I can’t really use it without my laptop being half shut. This solved that problem, plus gave me additional plug ins with the USB ports.
