Easy installation , it is my first water softener and it really works , no leaks , good quality materials , I had a problem and It was the meter wasn’t working right , called customer service and shipped a new one. Good price compare too the other options on internet

Bought this as a recommendation from my Father-In- Law. I have had this for several months now before I wrote this review. First of all- the paper instructions are terrible. YouTube has a great video that will walk you through all of the installation/ programming of the head with ease. It’s semi easy to install DIY, if your home is already plumbed for it. I don’t think I would try it without someone who knows what they are doing otherwise, JMO.Once up and going, I will say it has been worth every penny we paid for it. It made an immediate difference in the quality of our water. I wish I would have done this much sooner!

I have well water with 50 GPG hardness which is very hard. I was hoping to get into the soft water range of less than 7 GPG, but only getting down to 25 GPG. I have all the settings correct. This softener was a big disappointment! I washed my truck hoping to see few spots afterwards, but spots were everywhere. I know it cant make water perfect, but amount of spots was terrible. Overall this softener was wasted money! I regret the purchase. I would not purchase this unit if you have hard well water, with city water it may work fine.

We installed this ourselves and it has been over a year, it is working great. I would recommend.

It does a decent job but the water would get noticeably harder over the 14 days between regens. I tested the water with a kit over several months and the hardness would consistently go up from 1 to about 10 after hitting 450 gal. All the settings were checked by a plumber. I ended up having to shorten the regen cycle to 10 days which isn’t a huge deal but it’s a waste of water and salt and reflects poorly on the product.

We had 2 basic cheap Rheem in stock Home Depot water Softeners in the past, and the were just never programmed right - water would be hard for long periods and super super soft for short periods, rarely just right. This Fleck - it is awesome. Just constant soft water, all the time. So nice!!!!!
