These are sturdy, nice red color that matches your typical feeders. They are larger and deeper than expected but the benefit is they make excellent water feeders for smaller birds like wrens or finches. I have used pesticides on the pole, Vaseline on the bracket, & many other concoctions trying, to no avail, to keep ants out of my hummingbird feeders. These work!
