Replacement required - but new cameras are very good. Customer Service is EXCELLENT
Update March 20, 2019.Changed my rating from 1 star to 5 stars. The replacement cameras I received are working fine (the IR cutoff filter issue is resolved). The image quality is very good, especially given the price point. The attached photos show the quality during the day and at night. For the inside photo (workshop), the window is about 15 feet from the camera and you get very good detail even at night. I have the BLC on due to the glare from the door and window during the day. It works well. For the outside shot (driveway), the front of the car is about 18 feet from the camera and the back is 34 feet. No complaints at all.Again, customer service is 5 star. If you do run into a problem they are fast and efficient in solving it for you.Update March 18, 2019The Customer Service is excellent (5 stars). I contacted them and described the problem. They immediately authorized the shipment of 2 replacement cameras. I will send another update upon receipt and testing.Original Review - First the good part. When you first plug in the camera, the daylight and night images are great, especially given this price point. But when the cameras switch from night mode back to daylight you do not get a full color image. The IR LEDs are off but the IR cut off filter is not switching off.The AWB is set to Gray World, but the same problem occurs with ATW.The problem does not surface if you only have the cameras in the dark for an hour or two. It requires they go thru a typical night duration (about 10 hours this time of year in Georgia). The night temperatures have been in the 50s and the days in the 60s so that should not be an issue. To get the color back you can try power up/down but that rarely works. If you switch the Video Setting from CVBS to AHD then back to CVBS again the color returns to normal. The two cameras I purchased both have the same problem.

A nice wide-angle camera.
After buying a few other cameras that were advertised as "wide angle" but ended up being telephoto, I was skeptical. Right out of the box it felt better than the camera it replaced: Aluminum mounting plate (instead of plastic), protective film on the lens and the entire unit is about the size of a softball. The clarity is there even after dusk when the night vision kicks in. (The field of view isn't quite fish-eye but it is much wider than the cameras my security system shipped with.)As previously mentioned there is a protective plastic film over the lens which needs to be removed, but be mindful it's in two separate pieces. One die cut piece covers the IR illumination ring and another covers just the lens. I inadvertently only removed the film from the IR ring and was about to Hulk Smash the whole thing when I first looked at my monitor and saw a blurry mess. On closer inspection I could see the len's film, removed it, and all was well; User error.Overall I'm satisfied with the video quality as well as the overall construction quality.

Wider angle view, clear picture.
I bought SEVEN different model/brand cctv cameras within two months and installed them all. One of them had high ratings and was terrible. I did this thing where I plugged this camera in with a bunch of others and had them looking at the same thing and this camera performed well. I am really happy with this little camera. It is easy to install and the body parts are stronger and mostly metal. Other cameras have mostly plastic bodies that are easy to break when you drill them in.

Wow incredible picture, wide angle, amazing night vision and good for digital zoom!
These cameras are the cat's meow! Amazing quality and image for the price. I have older cameras that I paid the same price for a year or two ago and these things blow them out of the water. REALLY nice HD picture. So good you can use your DVR software to digitally zoom in on the pic and still get a pretty clear picture! Also, the night vision is unmatched at this price point. My older cameras can't see more than 10 - 20 feet in pitch black ( i live out in the country so no street lights at night). These things see hundreds of feet, the first time I had them working at night I thought I left one of my outdoor flood lights on with how clear and bright the image was but to my surprise it was just the amazing image and night vision sensor in these cameras. I ordered two originally but after installing the first two now ordered six more. STOP LOOKING these are the cameras you want! P.S. the small compact dome is very nice and inconspicuous - my other cameras stuck out like a sore thumb. Now, people who come to the house, have no clue I have cameras until they come inside and see the monitor. Very nice.

Started great, failed quickly
This camera looked great after initial installation. It was commissioned in November (in Florida) when the weather was still mild, but once the temps dropped in January and February (which here just means less than 60 degrees) the image would start to get dim and then go completely black. As things warmed up the image would slowly return. Recently the image has started getting bad even with stable and moderate temperatures. This unit is mounted outdoors, but on the inside corner of a covered roof/wall, and it gets no direct sun or moisture. Perhaps I just received a lemon, but based on my single sample the longevity and build quality seems to be an issue.Update: Replaced with a second unit and it died after several months too. The image is good when it works, but build quality seems to be an issue.

nice camera but...
the features and price are a draw on this camera. Previous owner of the Honic lineup and been dealing with cctv for 15-20 years. Performed routine install and setup, but after powering up, noticed the image had some bubbles which turned out to be a small speck on the inside of the lens. there is nothing that can be done by the customer to correct this that would not void the warranty.Had to return the camera.Customers loose from returns, our time and gas are worth alot these days. But, I do appreciate Amazons no hassle return policy.
