120v to 240v Step Up Transformer 1000W, 110v to 220v Power Voltage Converters, No Noise, Ten Protection Functions, Suit for Coffee Machines, Rice Cookers and Other Appliances

I love this step down. It looks elegant and works as advertised and matches my expensive kitchen appliances. It takes a few seconds before it starts powering up the connected device, but it kicks in and is very quiet. I like the colored digital info on voltage. I'm buying a second one to replace another traditional step down that is huge, ugly and noisy.

When I moved from America to Thailand my computer (not laptop) came with me. In America there is 110 power source. Here in Thailand there is only 220 power. This does not matter when charging your cell or tablet but it does when you are talking about a computer. I got what they called a converter from 220 to 110 but did not work that well. The computer would cut off at times seemed for no reason. I got this stepdown transformer and this is the best thing I could have gotten. 110 power is perfect and computer never cuts off. If you need 110 power this is the way to go.

This device has been working great in our kitchen allowing us to use the 110v kitchen devices we brought with us to Europe saving us the cost of buying all new kitchen appliances. We’ve been running our coffee makers, instapot, and toaster on it (separately of course) and they all have been working great.

It didn't work for us. We took it all the way to Argentina, hoping to use some small appliances. However, as soon as we plugged it for the 1st time, it caused the circuit breaker to shut off. We unplugged it immediately because the unit was giving off a burning smell. What a disappointment! It is a heavy unit, so we have to make room in our suitcases to take it down there. Of course, we brought it back. and we'll be returning it.

I got a food processing machine from Asia as a gift and needed a reliable transformer that can accommodate 800v or larger. I liked the look (was planning on leaving on a countertop) and the display window but it was a lot bigger and heavier. I only used it once but didn't notice any noise. I did have to return the first delivery because it wouldn't turn on.
