Bare Minerals Purely Nourishing Cream Dry Skin 1.7 oz

I always used to be a moisturiser junkie. Every store that had any new moisturiser for dry skin, or claimed to reduce wrinkles or whatever... I had to have it. I spend thousands of dollars on trying to find something I liked. I swapped all my makeup to Bare Minerals back in 2006. I haven't looked back, and when I discovered this moisturiser, I had to try it. Well, my junkie habit has been cured! This stuff goes on smooth, feels like velvet, moisturises all day, and again for all night. I have no breakouts, and no dry skin patches. People have told me I look 10 years younger than I am! I haven't noticed less lines, but I haven't noticed any new ones, either, so I guess it works. I am in my mid 40's and this stuff is amazing. And its really very affordable. AND, best of all, its not in a squeeze tube, which means you can get all of it out, and when you travel on a plane, its small enough to go in your carry-on, and won't get squeezed out in a pressurized cabin! LOVE LOVE LOVE this stuff! please, never change it!

At first I really enjoyed this product. However, I began to notice that my skin was more oily after I began using it and soon after I began breaking out. I stopped using it for a while and my skin cleared up. Wanting to give it another chance, because I have their foundation and love it, I used it again. Within a few days I was back to oily skin and breaking out. This might be good for some people, it has really good reviews. However, for me it was too heavy and ended up making me break out and get really oily skin, something I usually don't really worry about.

I LOVE this moisturizer! My skin is terribly acne prone and pretty much everything makes me break out. I also have dry skin. I had settled for CeraVe cream until I saw this stuff and bought it after reading the reviews. It is so nice and creamy, actually makes my skin feel nice, and does not break me out at all. So of course it's no longer available. :'( I'm trying a different cream by BareMinerals for "normal to dry skin" and it makes me look like I have a sun burn. I hope BareMinerals brings this Purely Nourishing Cream back!!!

Great product! My issues with dry skin have greatly reduced since I started using this product. I'm sticking to it and never going back. But, just a word of warning, it is a small bottle. You don't need to use much per application because it's very thick, but just know that the bottle looks a little bigger on the website than it is in person.

Perhaps there is no purpose in reviewing this item, as BareMinerals has since discontinued it, but nevertheless, incase they consider bringing it back, this was the ultimate moisturizer. There was nothing else from any other brand I could use without risking dryness, flaking, and breakouts. This was gentle, ultra-moisturizing, and fragrance free. Combined with the effect of using all their makeup, it was the perfect routine for healthy skin. It was unfortunate to hear about them changing to the new line but hopefully transitioning to the Bare Haven will be as seamless usage as this moisturizer was.

I do really like this product.it was new unused.delivery was fast, packaged well.I love the moisturizer, just wish it had SPF, my mistake. I thought that was what I ordered.I use it at night after washing my makeup off at end of the day.oit goes on great, not greasy at all. not heavy. no fragrance.thank you

Item came not in usual bareMinerals packaging, making me question it's authenticity and/or why it didn't have it's usual packaging. Overall is a nice cream, heavier rather than lighter - likely since it's made for dry skin. Not heavily scented, smooth to go on. Does make my face feel "greasy" after several hours, and I could never wear it under makeup as I do some of the bareMinerals other moisturizers. I would have to purchase again from a non-amazon retailer, i.e. Sephora, etc. and see if my experience was the same -and if perhaps if was not - perhaps I have a non-authentic item this time. All of my other experiences with bareMinerals products have been wonderful.

I live in Upstate NY and the winter weather can be really hard on skin. Between the harsh temperatures and lack of sun you need some extra moisture. This cream is my winter go to face cream. The only cream that prevents dry skin for me. I have very sensitive skin so anyone out there that is also really sensitive try this!
