Love it!
Straightforward, easy setup with lightburn, be sure you make sure the steps speed is set for the product you are engraving, do that in lightburn

The motor is poor
In the documentation they give you, they say this rotary is rated for up to 24 volts. However, the motor inside is only rated for 4.1 volts, 1.0 Amp. Connecting this to any usual step motor controller will result in a burned out motor. I've opted to replace the motor internally with something more robust. The rest of the unit seems of good quality. It's too bad they cheaped out with a crap motor. Also, nowhere in their documentation do they give you the correct pin connection/wiring or any actual specs. But, it's what you expect from China.

Quick and Easy
I have tried several ratary rollers and this is by far the quickest and easiest to setup. No assembly required. The hardest thing you will have to figure out is which of the 3 cables it comes with is the right one for use with your laser engraver and that is easy to figure out. It is very well built and low profile I flipped it upside down and put a piece of 1 x 6, wp inches long to simulate a skate board deck and was able to engrave the full length of the board. This thing is great!!!

Works well, feel sturdy
This is the only engraving roller I’ve tried so I can’t compare it to others but it worked well for me. Took a bit of time to figure out how to use it correctly, but I’m new to laser engraving so it might be easier for other people to use right away. I tested it with a metal water container and was able to get it to work well and I got a nice engraving out of it. I tested it on an older container first to be sure I wouldn’t ruin it so I’d recommend having something to use during the testing phase. It feels very sturdy and well built so it should last a long time. I have a generic brand engraver and it worked fine with it.

Fantastic rotary roller attachment!
This is a fully assembled low profile rotary roller for engraving cylindrical objects. It's my second rotary roller and sells on Amazon for nearly twice the price of my first budget roller. This one is significantly better in pretty much every way and is more than worth the extra money. This roller looks and feels like a well designed quality product. It has excellent fit and finish, and lots of little features that show they put a lot of thought into how this works and is to be used. It's low profile allowing you to engrave objects that are wider and larger than the roller without requiring you to elevate your engraver to ridiculous heights. Adjustment for object size is trivial and takes literally seconds. The front thumbscrew allows rapid adjustment of belt tension and the removable side thumbscrews allow you to rapidly move the roller position to any of the 7 preset positions. It's so easy I was able to adjust roller position without bothering to read the manual. This is a huge difference from my budget roller which practically requires disassembly to change roller position and reset belt tension, and takes minutes instead of seconds. There's an offset roller that supports engraving tapered or stemmed objects. It clips onto a series of retaining pins on underside of the roller and can be positioned on either side. The retaining pins are oriented and spaced so as to always keep the offset roller centered on the roller presets. Two rows of holes on the offset roller stand allow for close-in or farther out positioning, and rubber feet on the stand allow for standalone use for much larger objects. The roller comes with all the tools you need for disassembly and maintenance and three cables to mate to your engraver. Two of the included cables are pre-wired for the stepper motors used on common engravers (black for Nasum and AtomStack, and white for Nege and Ortur) while the third comes with one connector pinned but unassembled allowing you to easily adapt the roller to whatever custom pinout your engraver might require. That's a really nice touch. The included instructions are very detailed and include instructions to configure and calibrate both LaserGRBL and Lightburn engraving software, how to electrically connect the roller to your engraver, and how to adjust the roller for different configurations. The instructions on electrical connection are the least clear. If your engraver uses two of the common stepper motor configurations then one of the pre-fab cables will probably work, otherwise you'll need to figure out how to set up the custom cable. The roller doesn't come with height adjustment blocks for your engraver but the roller works with such a large variety of object sizes I understand why they don't. It still would have been nice to have a set of risers but they're easy enough to find.Highly recommended!

Nice Sturdy Roller
This appears to be a great roller accessory to put with your laser engraver. It comes already completely assembled. All you need to do is pick the correct cord which corresponds to your laser, and you're ready to go. This is the first roller that I have ever used with a laser, so I was new to the process. I wasn't sure exactly what I needed to do to get it going, and of course I misplaced the directions immediately.... I emailed the manufacturer, and they got back to me right away with digital instructions. I was impressed with their customer service. It was then very simple to get going, and I found that it works great. It is composed of quality material. It definitely has a bit of weight to it, and feels as if it will last just fine for a long period of time. I would definitely recommend it.
