Canister Filter for Aquarium,External Fish Tank Filter with Filter Media and Spray Bar (225GPH-UV)

I've had larger versions of this style from other stores that I had countless problems with, this one is the great redeemer. Built solid, easy to use, very quiet, great flow+adjustment levels and it doesn't leak. Probably wont use all trays for filtering, one good one is plenty for my 8 gallon tank. Took a while to get it primed and pumping, only because the pump is located 2 feet below the bottom of my tank, but once it got going, it's been operating great since! I had one issue but customer service was extremely helpful and quick to respond and solve my problem within a couple days. We'll see how well this functions over time, but I am very impressed and see this lasting for a long time. For those with leaking around the seals, you have to put a light coating of Vaseline, just in case to help prevent seeping. Make sure you fill the pump before covering up, helps with the priming. Oh and this has the UV light to help keep things extra clean, but no separate power switch, it stays on as long as the pump is on. I also love that this is such a low wattage, to save on the electric bill and doesn't affect the water flow. I could run this off a small 110 volt 300 watt power bank for at least 18 hours if the electricity ever went off. Maybe I got a good one in the batch, but I am very happy with this purchase and hope others will be too.

I bought this filter for my sister, about two months ago, and as of today, she said to Please, give this filter a very good review. She says the filter unit is extremely quiet, sos much so that she has to put her hand on it once in awhile to make sure it's still working. She loves that. She states that this is absolutely the best filter that she has ever had, works and does it's job to the max. The only thing that she found out and want to let other new owners know, that you really have to pump it at first to prime the pump, but once it starts going, it's fine. And you have to do that every time after you clean it also. She would give this filter and 10 out of 5 if she could!

I bought this filter and it stoped working in 2 months . A 40 dollar filter for petco is better . So DONT BUY

I have the blue cannister for 75/100 gallons which is the same basically its just a bigger one. I bought an extra one for extra filtration and I have not been able to get this one up and running at all! I don't even know why it won't start filtering it tries seems it's gonna start but never does it stops.

No media in the box it was advertised as having it but I received nothing

I purchased this for my fish tank as our old one is just old. The filter is just what I wanted but after unpacking we noticed the filters and stones were missing.

Got my filter in today and was very exited to open it. Once I got it open and all out of the box I noticed that there was only the white filter that is supposed to come with it was there but no black filter or rock for it. In the pictures of the filter it shows what all come with it and it shows there is supposed to be all 3 filter that come with it but only got the white one!
