I real bargain. While not as smooth as Gotoh 707's, these fit perfectly, look fine and function properly. In fact, they claim that they are 1:20, but they seem more like 1:22 or 24?? You can get very precise tuning with these. I've used the USA version of the Hipshot and they seem (sadly) not really any better than these except for a slight finish advantage.

slipped right in, like they were always meant to be there.the gearing is smooth, the finish is great, and they look pretty good.no slippage, no binding or grinding, its exactly what machine heads are supposed to be

Used these on a new Squier Bronco mod project. They hold tune well and look nice! There was a bit of modification needed though to make sure they fit into the peg holes. I used a step bit to make it happen, just be sure to check your measurements before you drill!

Welp. Don't overtighten. The aluminum shank is brittle. Be careful not to overtighten, as the metal completely failed. It wasn't even the threads that stripped.The package appeared to have been a return, so perhaps someone else spun the shank and returned them.

I bought these bass tuners to replace the ones on my old Samick bass, they were easy to install and seem to be of better quality as well.
