I have this on Auto Delivery. The dogs love this. It is their favorite. They love the taste and even the chihuahua, who only has half of his teeth, has no trouble chewing this food, so it's not too hard. I originally bought it because it's an unusual protein and one of the dogs has food allergies.. I routinely purchase about 5 different types of food, so they don't get bored, and this one is the star of the buffet. It's always fresh when I open the bag, and even though it's pretty pricey, it's worth it for the quality of food.

We love Natural Balance! I used to buy this at a pet store in town, but they stopped carrying it. Since my labradoodle is allergic to fowls, he can't have chicken-based dog food. Our vet recommended salmon and sweet potatoes from Natural Balance. It doesn't have by products, just healthy ingredients for your best friend! His weight, energy, and health have never been better!

My dog became intolerant to a food she’s been eating for the past year or so. We did the elimination diet. Then landed on slowly incorporating this into her diet. She loves it. She’s healthy. No more sickness. Lasts long, is fresh, smells good for dog food, and I’d say value for the money for sure. Also, her poos are MASSIVE. That’s the bitter sweet part. Sometimes it takes two bags to gather her massive logs. I’m still happy.

UPDATE: 01/31/2025 Fourth month in and my dog is doing great. Only problem is this month I didn't get my Natural Balance. I got Blue Buffalo Select Perfect Skin and Coat. It is Salmon but it has grains in it. That, I was trying to stay away from. It is still free of Chicken of any kind and the other things that bother her so we will give it a whirl. Somebody wasn't doing there job because it doesn't say my regular food is out. It is too much of a hassle to send it back. We will see how it goes. Of course I was charged for my other food which was $1+ more. LOL The Natural Balance does last longer than the other food she was getting. I free feed but she doesn't eat a whole lot at a time. Which is good.I switched to it for the limited ingredients and it seems to suit my baby just fine. It is expensive but she is worth it. She is a Black Mouth Cur and starting to get up there in age. But if she's happy' I'm happy.

My dogs have been eating Natural Balance Duck & Potato since the very first day I brought them home, and I’ve never once considered switching. It’s gentle on their stomachs, nourishing, and clearly made with quality ingredients.What speaks volumes to me is their long-term health. My oldest is 13 years old now—bright-eyed, mentally sharp, physically strong, and with impressively little tooth decay for his age. This food has truly supported them through every stage of life.I’m incredibly grateful for a product that’s helped keep my dogs not just full, but thriving. Good dog food. But the price went up after ordering, so we buy it local again.

We have been loyal buyers of this dog food for years and decided to try purchasing it on Amazon for the convenience, even though it's more expensive than buying it at the pet store. Not having to haul a heavy bag to the car and into the house was appealing. We've purchased it from Amazon a total of five times.However, the last two bags—over the past two months—seemed problematic. We have four dogs, and three of them experienced issues after eating the food. One began vomiting and had irregular stool, while another completely lost interest in eating it and eventually refused to touch it. We also noticed the food started turning lighter in color unusually quickly—within a few days, rather than near the end of the bag as we typically expect.We overlooked the first bag, but when one of our dogs completely stopped eating and developed stomach noises after consuming food from the second bag, we decided to stop feeding them with it altogether. Instead, we went back to buying the food from the pet store. After just two meals of the pet store-bought food, the dog who had stopped eating returned to normal.Additionally, we observed a difference in the kibble sizes. The Amazon-purchased food had smaller bits compared to the pet store version. We know there’s a "small bites" version available, but these were not from that specific line.We’re uncertain whether this brand has issues with counterfeit or imitation products, but clearly, something isn't right. Unfortunately, we won’t be purchasing this dog food from Amazon again.
